I still don't understand how the American flag was moving like there was wind blowing it. Nothing else was moving just the American flag, and it puzzles me to this day!

So you figure

"One small step for man, one giant leap for mankind", was true?

The landings were not real. It was all a hoax, and another way the American taxpayers got skinned.

on a episode of "myth busters" they went after all the myths around the moon landing. the waving flag was one of them and they able to prove it would move under those conditions.
Its a good show( Dont know if you have seen it)and they are quite thorough.

I was teen at the time, and flag I saw was blowing for some time, with no one anywhere near it...It was long enough to ask the question how is that flag blowing?

I don't think it was "blowing," I just think that the material was floating due to very limited gravity maybe? Kind of like a feather does here..

im not a scientist but, they put a replica of the same flag in a vaccum and it moved on its own.For years I always thought it strange until I saw this show.

a government funded programme can prove anything to be true.

i haven't seen that show, but i guess the flag wouldn't have been perfectly still when they planted it, and without friction from surrounding air to sap it of its kinetic energy, it would continue to move.
