Anyone who isn't completely convinced that powershaker isn't what he claims to be should look at his games and posting history. He claims to play opening systems that don't exist, copies his 'insights' directly from books and computer analysis. His rating on RHP seems to be perfectly representitive of his playing strength.
Originally posted by XanthosNZVery true...powershaker makes pretty obvious tactical blunders and I saw a clearly incorrect piece sacrifice in a sicilian on move 5 or something.

I would think his "true" rating is close to the RHP or perhaps slightly lower.
A+ for the effort on his excuses and for self delusion though.
Originally posted by RavelloI'm not rated 1400 now. I'm rated 1479. LOL I took Rahim up on his idea of me actually trying to play. hehe
Despite the idiocy of posting the same thing for three times, now I'll challenge you ,just to ave the feel of playing a 1700/1800 OTB player who's rated 1400 at correspondence chess......

Oh, by the way, THE CLASH OF THE TITANS tournament between Smaug and POWERSHAKER: SMAUG: 6 1/2 POWERSHAKER: 3 1/2! And, he's a 1600s player, so that should quiet up everyone a bit who says I'm not better than my rating on RHP. I was moving rather quickly, too. Smaug is a good player though. I have to admit that. I enjoyed the competition. Sad I couldn't play seriously in all ten games.
Okay, now pay attention to White's (me) 51st move versus Sicilian Smaug. This is my favorite tactical maneuver I played on him. I took a chance, and won his rook with a spectacular discovered attack, kiddies! Game 1556893
Originally posted by powershakerFirstly you didn't win a rook, you won the exchange (rook for a bishop) which you had lost earlier in the game. Also your oh so spectacular 51st move? What if black plays 52. ... Kf6 ? You've just activated his king for free. Smaug blundered on move 52 and you took advantage with a simple discovered attack, the kind of tactic you teach to extreme beginners. Except you'd hope that most of them would realise that Be8+ is much much better.

If this is what you view as a spectacular attack you are most definately a patzer of the highest order.
Originally posted by XanthosNZIf you look at what I posted, you would realize Xanthos that I said, and I quote, "I took a chance" to set up the discovered attack, and he fell for it. I didn't say it was a "forced" move, Xanthos. Geez! You need to read! But, I like the sarcastic attitude. It goes good with that goofy butt picture you have by your name.

I was moving so fast, I didn't realize I could have also played the bishop there. I just saw the tactical maneuver and played it how I saw it. But, yeah, that would have been a much better move.

People,don't play this guy.
We're playing a couple of games (B+W) and as soon as he got a better position started "You're in a big mess now" and "I'm going to make you look like an "Italian punching bag just for that!" and continues with "you're so weak!" ,like if he's a master or something like that.
I have no problem in losing games, but I really don't like idiots running their mouth during games like this,it spoils the fun of the game.
