Was he on a quest for TN's?

Ok I know there is currently a post running for wins in under 20 moves but the water gets bit murky when the win was through resignation or timeout. I dont think these should count unless the mate can be forced in under 20. (I know there may be some who disagree with this but should it really count just cause my opponent went on holiday for a fortnight on move t ...[text shortened]... ?
Here's my best Game 766306 move ten.
[edit: bit of line spacing looks better lol]
5 moves

Originally posted by tortenYa, in my game notes, I note that 3...h6 seemed odd. Seemed premature and unnecessary. But I guess not uncommon to see opponents shake things up early to avoid main lines. Maybe a TN, as you say. 3....h6 is a distant fourth move in the games database I use, with 3...Bc5 and 3...Nf6 as we know the most common moves.
Theoretical Novelties
3....,h6?! 4....,Bd6?!
Move/ Games/ White Wins
3... Bc5 26634 42.8 %
3... Nf6 22114 43.6 %

3... h6 1399 58 %
3... Nd4 561 45.8 %
3... g6 125 54.4 %
As for 4...Bd6, I see that in the Ruy sometimes but not here. It congests his position in contrast to my open position, which contributed to an opportunity for an early king-side attack (on his uncastled position).
In the awkward position, 4...Bd6 was a distant third (9 games) in my database.
