No, white is in check and only has two squares to move too, then Qf2 mate.
I do see the mate in the end, but - and this is most likely because 'the game may be reported incorrectly' - black seems to move twice in a row (on black's 8th and white's 9th). So, I just tried to guess what the white's 9th move actually was. Anyway, well played.

Ah yes, i see what you mean, and yes your move 9 was correct as my opponent did not have that knight on e2 after that point, (that was the other square he could move too, shouldnt be a knight there)

I think this is pretty common.

What a nice game!
You should have played Qxd5 instead of Bxd5,
so the final position would be nicer
You killed him in just 9 moves!

This game made me the first player who has a "established club rating" of 1242. I am special now. 😏

Plus I'm propably going to win this tournament. However, I don't feel like I'll deserve to win it: four ugly time-out wins.

Quite a pretty mate in 14 moves. With 4 different pieces.

I really enjoy this one... They have a name for it I think? Not sure but check it out! The sacrifice of our Queen Lady can be deadly!Game 4719958

Here is another in under 20 that I am proud of... Love the smothered mates! This mate could of been avoided and I'm pretty shocked that someone rated above 1500 went to the one square they shouldn't have. That's why they call them blunders right?
