Having played ih8sens a number of times I doubt he has the ability to become a paid chess professional / coach of any sort.
Even GMs find it difficult if not impossible to actually make a living from chess and I would not pay for ih8sens to coach me nor purchase a book on the Traxler written by him.
then, it can be edited by Cludi
🙂

Some play chess for fun, some play chess for profit, some play chess for real, and for some chess is the ultimate reality the only thing that matters. Some win some lose, but it's all the same. It's all about techniques and "subtle" inside methods that can make you a better cheater, and an absolute danger OTB. If you use databases religiously you have missed the boat! This book was written with the cowardly lion chess player in mind...

If you hate that, just play the game / on the site that you like.

What a poisoned little pawn you are 🙄
Originally posted by eldragonflyAh, now you are jelaous too ? You seem to insult everyone with higher rating than yours (which isn't difficult to have). I am outta here since I am not a real life loser trying to find consolation in being an idiot on a chess site. And I heard some advice on this site that I am going to repeat :
Aha!
..your rating graph looks a bit strange ivan, you have gained almost 800 points in 2 months. that and these unnecessary misguided candyass database apologist remarks does make me wonder.
DON'T FEED THE TROLL
Bye, enjoy yourself 🙂

Though it's been mentioned in another thread, since the Cludi saga took up some much space on this board, I thought it deserved it's own FINAL thread.
Justice has been served. And, of course:

The man resigned his games. You get a point or 30. So what? I agree it would have been more sporting of him to stay and beat all the people he was playing, just so that they did not get undeserved* rating points. But he didn't.
Don't worry, his rating bottomed out at 1400, so he still took more points out of the system overall. Ratings still have the same value. And if he comes back, maybe you could challenge him, just to lose those points again, and help him get his rating back to where it would be if he was playing full time.
Or do you think you lose points if he resigns??
*"Undeserved" - some people think they do not deserve the points if they win to a resignation. My personal opinion here is that it evens out overall.

Surely you're not going to suggest that he had to stay and finish the games, which could take months.

What Are some effective ways players have taken a break from games here?
Is there a way of taking a break from the site that works (even for non-subscribers) and is less self-destructive than resigning on all boards?
Am wondering, how have others handled this?
