As far as I know, skeeter wasn't banned for cheating, and she hasn't been exposed as a cheat. She was banned for forum abuse and any suggestion that she was a cheat is pure conjecture. All things considered, it doesn't matter a damn if she was cheating or not. Who really cares? From my point of view, I always found her posts interesting and her put downs amusing, and I will miss her contributions.
thought this was a creative way of saying "your word is the law, dude.", "you rock" or "whoever doesnt see this is an idiot".
not that anyone should care...
edit: yes, the things in quotation marks are exaggerations to sound funny, even they don"t do so in your ears. still, they are not to be taken literal...

Most people are here to play chess not read the forums. They deserve to be protected from the silicon monsters.
It would be easier to imagine skeeter being #1 here & having such an engine-like game if she had any chess credentials whatsoever.
I know who skeeter is, and it's very odd - I'd expect some mention of such a gifted female chess player from New Zealand when you Google her name.
Anyway, must dash. Got an art exhibition then a heavy metal concert to attend, don't you know...
Bad spelling and bad grammar bother me in this thread...
a. "than" and not "then" when saying something like "rather you than me".
b. "of course" not "off cause", otherwise the meaning might get lost.
c. "whose" not "who's" as in "whose speech was quite boring".
d. A capital letter should be used when starting a sentence; it's not just a convention in any language, it makes the text clearer/easier to read.
e. Signing your own post is superfluous and looks pedantic, believe me (unless you are Skeeter from whom you expect any eccentricity😉...(I am leaving you off the hook, GP, because I fear you posting some of my horrific blunders or poor games...)
On a, perhaps, related topic to the nature of this thread:
Why is only 1(one) of the top 10(ten) players on this site (not side) entering the 2012 Championship? Will any one of the absentees care to explain?

What are the rules about spaces between sentences, Mr. Bowmann?

As I see it you have achieved a position of "maybe probably" or "maybe probably not" depending on your predisposition to the answer, and since the lady is unable to defend herself, it all leaves a nasty taste in the mouth.

I don't understand what you mean by "the status quo around here". This is an internet chess site..what have I missed?
