I'm unaware of any OTB GM or pre-computer era CC GM getting results of 60% top matches or 85% in the top three in the samples that were run. I did some of my own and nobody went that high. Are you claiming there is evidence to the contrary?

When you've spent several hundred hours creating a set of benchmarks by hand, then had them backed-up by what an automated system generates, we can talk.
In the meantime, this thread is about skeeter, and her match rates in 20 objectively chosen games.
Her match rates are just above the extreme upper end of the thresholds for unassisted human play.
That is all you need to know.
The more interesting question is why on Earth Russ didn't ban her for engine use on game mods recommendations. Maybe he simply thought that someone who constantly whines about engine users surely can't be one themselves.

The post that was quoted here has been removedwell, you have a right to your opinion. but I haven't jumped into any conclusions about YOU, I've merely shown with short, exaggerated analogies why your reasoning is flawed. and so far I've seen nothing that implied you understood what the whole skeeter thing is about. you just keep worrying about 'how people are seen in the eyes of others' and 'whether the tone of the discussion is unnecessarily harsh or not', but ignore the actual issues we've been wrangling with for years already. longer that half a decade.
the nice way has been tried, it resulted in absolute zero results. the confrontational harsh way has been shown to work time and time again. and THIS is what you don't seem to realize.
if you must now what kind of conclusions I've jumped into about you, I think (assume) you're a nice (elderly?) lady who likes to think good about everyone. you seem like a very nice and balanced person. that's about the extent of my assumptions on you.
