The problem is he hangs up one of your six games, isn't it?

Become a subscriber, then you can play loads of games without having to worry about people not moving, or not accepting losses or draws. A few bucks will do the trick, and you might even become a better chessplayer.

He's hoping you'll screw up, which is easy to do.

Not necessarily. You may one day find yourself drawn to a chess book or some puzzles online. In the meantime you could always ask your opps if they'd mind going over the game in a few messages after its over. There are many roads to improvement and "never" and "always" are a little too absolute.

No its not? Are you a simple soul or something? Even in a blitz game with 20 seconds left its an easy draw

Maybe you should contact the writer of this thread and ask for advice

i haven't looked in the game in progress yet, but it sounds simple.
this reminds me of a game i had against a higher rater oponent in which I was in a R and K v K end game. He then messaged me, saying that it should be an easy win, but he then stated that due to my (at the time) very low rating, combined with my "poor play" (i found it funny with my poor play i was still ahead..what does that say about him?) that he didn't believe that I knew how to win, and would make me play it out...2 months later i finished the idiot and declined the rematch.

Is it so hard to take a comment as just that and not some sort of attack against you?

Not at all... and I didn't take the comment personally; I was merely bringing out into the open that the reply in question merely deflected the true point of my statement, namely: chess without time controls is a nonsense.

Do you know how many times my opponent used the timebank as a threat? That's why i only play 1 day games now.I remember 1 time a guy told me that he would make me play the game for 6 months if i don't accept his draw. The moron haven't seen that there was no timebank... ๐Ÿ™‚ he resigned when i told him.

Eureka!
You've now answered your own question.
Use time as a weapon.... not a threat.

I think your biggest problem is being a non-subscriber. You are limited to 6 games, so games that are stalled reduce your opportunity to play.

Subscribers would just start a few more games, and move on.

The RHP subscription is really worth it.
