Even if I were a Queen and rook down, it would still depend on other factors, such as piece placement, and my judgement of the strength of the opponent.
For example, say I had lost my queen and rook through sheer carelessness on my part, then there could be a chance that I might come back in the game, the opponent might make a mistake, for example.
...[text shortened]... back out of it.
Having said that though I seem to have resigned a lot of games recently. 🙁
Then fight until your opponent checkmates you and take all the time you need to make each and every move: If you have 10 days to make the only legal move you have at your disposal take 9 days and send a smiley to your opponent. In that way you are going to improve your game by a lot. I guarantee it.
🙂 <-- Notice the smiley to show that I am joking...

Hi,
For me, when I don't have the attention to play, or the chance to face a tricky situation on board or in mind, or chance to enjoy the art of chess anymore, then the game should be ended.
It's only different in the result whether the game is ended with my resignation, or my opponent's, or draw offering or stalemate position. But the main factor ...[text shortened]... on again.
Best luck for the loosers, and best modesty for the winners.
FEEL THE ART,

You know what? You are right...

Herasoul, I am sorry but your post makes no sense at all.
You asked, "It's their rights to taste the feeling a little bit longer. So, why don't you (the winners, finally) give the poor defeated players the chance to live their times in their way?"
Of course it is their right. They are allowed to do whatever they wish within the rules of ...[text shortened]... six pawn moves and seven bishop moves opening.
Tell me that kind of thinking is not sad....
It is not, it is fighting chess at its best 😀

Game 480767
This is probably my favourite game that I have played on RHP, purely because I went waaayyyyy behind due to a stupid attack, and then used my wits and skill to repel everything that was thrown at me. It was great fun being up to 2P v 2N + B down, and having to try to anticipate where I could be attacked. In the end, I sacrificed anoth ...[text shortened]... ign or not. We are, after all, not GMs and anything can happen. That's part of the fun.

You have got to be kidding...
Did you analyze this game carefully to see the blunders, inaccuracies in the opening, etc.? When I tried to study your game I couldn't stand wondering about your notes from the game and what was it that you learned.
Anyone may place 100 games here with similar blunders and counterblunders but if I see no notes to the game or at least some analysis acknowledging mistakes and where could you have played better and how, I see these games as pointless exercises.

Most people play chess to win, or lacking a chance to do that, to draw. They don't do it to pamper your warped feelings about it.
You have a lot to learn about respecting other people's rights, and stop being so pushy, arrogant, rude, and snobbish.

Yes, I tend to think that chess players should treat their opponents with respect.
They could be having a beer with friends. They could be playing a game that is actually challenging and interesting. They could be getting dinner. They could be reading one of Shakespeare's sonnets. They could be having wild monkey sex with their mate. Instead, they're sitting around watching you spend 10 minutes per move to push your king back and forth between the same two squares.
Is that RESPECTFUL? Is it? Is it?

I've seen judges descend from the bench and shout in lawyers' faces for the kind of arguments you are making. Judges don't like their time wasted with such.
And how do you know what judges do?
Or are you just talking out your anus as per usual?
For that matter, why do you feel like it's ok to waste a chessplayer's time, but not a judge's? Remember, we're talking about time-wasting here.

Drag the game, and you've lost a potential practice partner.
