In regards to the rest of ...[text shortened]... hing up the game dealing with any traps that my opponent may set...

My statement: "If that puts me on the no play list so be it."
was a general summation to thread and not directed at you specifically.
If I hit a nerve.........and it seems I did, sorry.

My post was directed more towards the sportsmenship aspect of your post. The style of play an opponent has may aggrevate you and/or I to no end, but there is nothing wrong or unsportsmenlike with playing the game all the way to the end. I am in such a just game now (I.D 685962). My opponent is way down in material and shows no sign of giving up, and I respect the "NEVER SAY DIE ATTITUE" of my opponent. I will just have to work harder to win. That is the way the game is played.

There is always another alternative. If someone doesn't like to finish these types of games they could take the hit and resign.

sincerely,

I am up a knight plus five pawns in one of my games. It is not clear to me what my best strategy for getting to checkmate is, so I am enjoying the challenge of trying to figure it out. And for all I know, I may yet blunder and allow him to get a win or a draw out of it, so I do not have any problem with him fighting on. He has not slowed down the pace of playing, so that is not a problem either.
