What was even better for me was the fact that in both games I won playing as black.
Now if only I could play that well in all my games I'd have a better rating than I currently do 😉
EDIT : Spot the glaring mistake I made in the first game but got away with 😉

I once beat someone with an ECF grade of 220 (about 2350 FIDE). I believe he was the thirteenth highest player in Britain at the time). It was on board 2 of a match between Maidstone and Hackney. Matthew Sadler, who was on board 1, just kept looking at our game with a disgusted look on his face.

Just got mine. A draw against a 2100! I did this OTB this season but this is by far my best result online.

does anyone remember who was the 1200-player who won a game against one of our top players about 2 years ago? I can't remember either player, but I'm sure someone knows which game I'm talking about. if I remember right, it wasn't even a huge blunder, but the low rated guy just played very well...
or was it a draw?
