c7?
1. c7 Kb7
2. c8=Q+ Kxc8
3. Kg6 f5
4. Kxf5 Kd7
5. Kg6 Ke7
6. Kh5 Kf7
Not sure how to continue...
But it is certainly the move I would play in a match.

Sorry, that's a loss. Black will just bring his king to f5 and then later on queen his pawn. This is a difficult puzzle (although I found it in a russian endgame book for kids written by Beliavsky.)

Yes, BigDogg, I noticed that, that is why I said I can't see any better lines.

Oh, sorry. When you said "I can't see any other lines that work", I wasn't sure whether you meant there were no other first moves that worked, or other Black defenses that worked.

That's right. You're very good with puzzles. Can you post some on my Feed Me Puzzles Thread, please?

What would you play as White in this position and also and easier; Black? I put in an express request to BIG DOGG PROBLEM not to post the answer but PM me.

Nah, it's too easy to bother sending a PM over.

By the way, why not try a real puzzle instead of mine? Mine are for peole like me, good at playing, but not at puzzles.

You're obviously unaware of my solving history on these forums. I've successfully solved some of the most difficult chess problems that have posted here.
