So is that statement supposed to mean you think the delta variant is no big deal, nothing to see here, go back home folks?
Compared to the 30 percent overall death rate of smallpox? Yeah, nothing.

Yep, you prove your worthlessness as a human being every time you type.
You are one disgusting individual with ZERO empathy which I have said a dozen times now.
I get the feeling you think empathy is for the weak and you can only be strong if you can ignore the pain of others.

But the herd immunity hypothesis has been destroyed. The gene vaccines are nothing more than treatments and do not prevent infection and transmission. That undercuts the whole vaccine mandate. No logical person can endorse a vaccine mandate or passport based on the data.

The corporate news media is not reporting that the herd immunity hypothesis has been destroyed. The ...[text shortened]... e mandates or passports are useless and they do not want to admit it. This should be a huge scandal!
Who mentioned herd immunity? Not me. Can you even read English or is Russian your first language?

80 percent of COVID deaths are people 65 or older. Get over it.

Concerning polio...

Key factsPolio (poliomyelitis) mainly affects children under 5 years of age.1 in 200 infections leads to irreversible paralysis. Among those paralysed, 5% to 10% die when their breathing muscles become immobilized.

I'm over it. You're still harping on the idea that bears are more dangerous.

I know the stats on polio. It's too late in the evening for math but 5% of 0.5% die from polio? Why'd we think it was such a big deal? You are exceedingly unlikely to die from it, and yet we the whole population was willingly vaccinated because it would save lives.

You are over it because you got put in your place about the typical age of polio victims.

Face it, you know very little.

The Logic of a Science Denier:

I'm in a burning skyscraper. The fire is advancing from below. I see the fire escape and a lot of people using it. But, I'm not going to get on that thing. It could collapse and then I'd fall to my death.
I'll just block this fire door and keep others safe from falling too.

Covid is no fire for people with even average functioning immune systems.

If our society had people who eat healthy food, made sure their vitamin levels are solid and exercise, you would have seen the covid deaths cut in half at the very least.

For kids the probability of death is 1 in 10 000.

Oh no, the world is coming to an end.

Hogwash. You provided the statistics on polio, which ravaged mankind for a thousand years. We're not calling that a fire? COVID numbers are very similar.

The statistics, if we're going by that, also say your likelihood of death by bear is near zero.

The statistics, if we're going by that, also say your likelihood of death by vaccine is near zero.

9,000 COVID-19 deaths in TX since February. 43 were vaccinated.

Polio ravaged mankind? I do not think so. I think it is a disease that mainly affects children and rarely caused people to be paralyzed or in some cases killed.

Covid can create an autoimmune response that kills people, but that is rare. In children it is very rare. Death among children is similar to death rates for chickenpox.

Would you say chickenpox has ravaged mankind? I would not. I had it. It was not fun, but definitely not deadly in most cases.

You pointedly ignore the long term effects after you get well from covid.
And the new delta and probably even more virulent versions coming online because of the unvaccinated.
In Africa, they have an excuse.
YOU HAVE NONE.

Do lots of extra cleaning, wear a mask, stay 6 feet apart
Give people more time to improve vaccine efficiencies

Define long term. There are rare long term problem caused by chickenpox. I as m sure pretty much all viruses can trigger as long term negative effect.
