Adults are much too easily distracted by each shiny object which presents itself, but Bobby attained the highest levels of concentration and achievement as only an infant focused on the tit can. Indeed, as some here are equally focused on denying others their satisfaction ...
You are better than this. Play the ball rather than the man.

@divegeester saidBut was it "infantile"?

200
Posts that is.
But it could be the total number of anonymous thumbs.
Someone interested in the numbers of anonymous thumbs could check and the datum might be of interest of some to know, but no one, absolutely no one, even those presenting with an apparent obsession with numbers of thumbs, should feel in anyway obligated to count up the number of thumbs just because I’ve mentioned it.
@divegeester saidTotally with DG on this one, and wouldn't mind betting that the 9 thumbs against him in the OP were all non - subscribers
Russ, you may have noticed that there has been some debate about this feature and I would like to make a serious suggestion.
The what:
- make the thumbing of forum posts only available to subscribers
The why:
- clearly it is a feature which many members see value in and that value can be commercialised
- the feature is currently rendered largely useless and fre ...[text shortened]... eat disagreements in the various forums
- the original intent of the feature is being made obsolete
@medullah saidSorry Meds, but I can positively say that that's not true.

I'm a subscriber and also proud owner of one of the red thumbs in that post.
So proud, that I think I'll declare them publicly for now on, you know, just to return a favor.
Caveat: Because of time constraints, I reserve the right to anonymously red thumb Divegeester's more prolific inanities. As they tend to be daily...and numerous.

@suzianne saidThe alert function is no longer abused by people using second accounts to get threads they don’t like removed. The moderators job has been made simpler and the value of the alert function restored.
Unless the man is an inveterate liar.
The same thing should happen for the thumbing function; I.e. subscribers only.
@divegeester saidWe can see why you'd like to think that: The reality is just too much for that brittle ego of yours.
Yes, the thumbing function has become obsolete because of posters using multiple unsubscribed accounts to clock up numbers of green or reds.
But, just face it, quite a few people here don't appreciate your ugly posts: Thus your daily harvest of red thumbs.
Just humble yourself and stop being a condescending jerk. You're not equipped for the role. You're not strong enough to handle the feedback. You should change.
Consider this an olive branch. I give very few.
@woofwoof saidIt is a pity that this website has a feature that specifically appeals to the schoolyard mentality you are personifying here.
