SecondSon doesn’t like me telling him that he comes across in here (to me) as a prickly, self-righteous, churchy, American Christian. He was saying earlier that perhaps I was insecure in my Christianity because I called him on not citing you and I as being “children of god”. I told him that it’s silly for him to think that I need to hear him tell me this for me own “spiritual security”

For SecondSon to now back away from the notion of “security”, I.e. being a child of god, and hide behind my use of “spiritual security” pretending he can’t answer your question, is downright dishonest.

Have a read through the last couple of pages and you’ll see what I mean. It’s quite interesting to see yet another churchy, puffed up American Christian coming to this forum and revealing far more than he intended. 🙂

Well tiger, it’s not unusual for one generation to think that of an older generation. It’s been that way for centuries.

BTW, did you eat the two PB&J sandwiches with the crusts cut off that I put in your knapsack? Was your tummy Ok afterwards?

I think you make far too many assumptions about people, tiger.

Please be aware that my conversing with you is incidental to my exchanges with SecondSon; I really have no intention of discussing anything with you. I have no respect for you whatsoever, neither as a member of this forum nor as a Christian. I think you are a bellend, a dickhead, a dishonest sweaty disesteemed juvenile. I trust this is clear.

And you and I both know why you’re posting to me. You can’t help yourself. When you don’t speak to me for more than a day, you become an emotional wreck.

This routine you downshift into, do you think it’s funny? Did it play out well for you on the last forum you were in?

I thought your posting to me was incidental. This doesn’t seem incidental.

You know, after reading your post, I got to thinkin'. I do that sometimes.

But I find it odd that someone would even make such statements as, "obsession with other male posters" and "leering lasciviousness" and the like.

Personally, I'd be embarrassed for making such comments. It's immature and cripples a legitimate and rational debate as well as undermining the integrity of another with what can only be interpreted to mean they're insecure with themselves.

You have issues. That you think I care what you think of me, in the most derogatory and insulting terms you have the courage to use, tells me you are indeed insecure with yourself.

It is also apparent you are fearful of discussing the content and meaning of the scriptures, but would rather associate yourself with an insult hurling and hate mongering apostate instead of discussing things spiritual in accordance with the truth of God's Word.

As I said ealirer in our exchanges, so much for perspectives.

That you would “feel embarrassed” saying the things I said to Romans1009 is about as relevant as me saying I would be embarrassed if I said what you did about how the bible tells you that you (and you little group of cronies) are not prickly, churchy, American Christians... but instead are....whatever nauseating pompous waffle it was that I copy pasted a couple of times. And I would be embarrassed. Very.

But at least you are thinking, I suppose.

I come to this site to play chess, badly, and to observe the religious classes in their casual dishonesty, pretentious waffley superscilliousness and furtive evasions.

Currently I have you in my bug jar SecondSon. You are by no means unique, but you are, for now at least, mildly interesting.

Believing and doing are two different things
one is faith the other is works

Faith and works
Two components of salvation.

Can faith save you? James asks
What is the answer.

Yet still you evade substantive discussions about the relevance of matters spiritual with the attendant scriptural evidence applicable to the topic.

Instead you treat this forum, and its posters, as a backdrop in which you can make comparisons with. A sure sign of insecurity.

2 Corinthians 10:12
For we dare not make ourselves of the number, or compare ourselves with some that commend themselves: but they measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise.
