It was to oppose you shutting down well-earned and well-deserved criticism of you (see above post).

Why do you need to be able to multiple alert posts in order to write some criticism of me?

What is clear is that you and a few others were exploiting a weakness of the alert function coding to multiple alert dozens of posts to them and frequently an entire thread removed.

Since Russ modified the coding so that it was only for subscribers and limited to three per day we have hardly ever had a full thread removed, and you’ve been screeching about it ever since.

However a lot of posters tend to be frank, forthright and honest.
You seem to have difficulty telling them apart and it’s gotten you into some scrapes. I don’t find that sad, it’s your own fault.

And, by enormous chance, the ones who lie are critics of you, and the ones who are "forthright" are the ones sucking up to you.

You miss the point of my reply. Since I am speaking from truth, I am speaking from what I know. I'm not seeking to distance myself from anything. It is how it was. There is no "reining it in". It is how it was.

As for "a Jack Reacher type character". LOL can be my only response to this. I'm definitely not as big as him, but the last man to put me down (with a black eye, a cut lip. a bruise on my face, a dislocated shoulder and a possible cracked rib, and that's only because, as he said, "you wouldn't stop" ) was a Navy SEAL, in sparring practice.
