I think the way I am acquitting myself may have more to do with your rejection of what I believe Jesus did for us on the cross, and your refusal to tell me exactly why you no longer believe it to be true.
Originally posted by FetchmyjunkWell, I don't need it to appeal to your sense of humour, only to mine, so your question is moot and no explanation as to why it would be funny to me is going to be forthcoming.
Why would it be funny if people thought you were a liar is the circumstances?
Did the people who you claim abused you psychologically for 24 years talk to you in the way you are talking to me now?
Originally posted by FMFOh I have stopped pressing you for answers. I simply asked Dive why he thought you were transparent if you refused to answer questions, then you jumped on the bandwagon. We are now discussing the reason why you won't answer my questions.

"You are not automatically entitled to have access to the confidences and personal revelations of other people on demand. " Do you recognize it?
Originally posted by FetchmyjunkFair enough. You started Thread 170987 about it a few hours ago, so I assumed you might have wanted make some declaration - here, perhaps - about how you believe that your only hope is to put your faith in what Jesus supposedly did for you "on the cross". There is no onus on you to let that notion spill onto this thread if you don't want it to.

Examples?
If you think I might be lying - for instance - about me not being a Christian, is it that you think the truth of the matter might be that I am still a Christian? That kind of stuff?
Originally posted by FetchmyjunkI have told you over and over and over again that I truly thought what I believed when I was a Christian was real, and genuine, and sincere, and true, and longstanding, and it permeated my life. And obviously, not being a Christian anymore, I now believe that I was mistaken. I have already told you this over and over and over again. Why are you asking about the same thing repeatedly when it has already been answered?
