Yep, not all about the same things.

So what do you make of the word "Irreligion" ?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Irreligion
I suppose you would like the word eliminated from dictionaries?
Like Orwell's 1984.

You are a theist, ergo, you think like a theist and theists demand atheism be a religion even though EVERY atheist says otherwise.
By whose decree or by what credentials are you able to say how or what Theists think?

Especially when the vast majority of Atheists I've seen, demonstrate a complete lack of even a remedial understanding of Christianity; that is, but for the snide, cynical, sarcastic copy and pastes they fancy from anti-Christian websites.

Therefore, like I said, theists require atheism to be seen on an equal footing as religion and therefore they say to a man, atheism is a religion.
It is not, no matter how hard you try to force atheism into your belief fold.
Personally I do not believe every Atheist says the same thing anymore than I
think all Monotheist or Polytheist do either, but they all have beliefs that bind
them. Again, I don't care one way or another on how this dicussion falls out
religion has a defined meaning and fits Atheism.
Wikipedia on religion:
Religion is a collection of belief systems, cultural systems, and world views that relate humanity to spirituality and, sometimes, to moral values.
Webster:

: a cause, principle, or system of beliefs held to with ardor and faith

Not sure why you'd think I'd like to eliminate it from dictionaries.

for what they are. If they lie they will be liars, if they steal they will be thieves,
if they hold others to standards they themselves don't hold themselves to
they will be hypocrites, if they claim one thing and act out in another it will
be revealed. So since we all fall short we are in need of a savior which is Jesus
Christ, those that reject that will indeed stand in their own righteousness, and
those that believe in other gods or lack of them will either be saved through
those beliefs, or not. So why would I care one wit about how words are defined
as if that should shake my world view.

Personally, I am Anti-religion, not particularly atheistic. I think the so-called religions of today are religions of propaganda, snake oil salesmen, and deliverers of death fighting all the other religions any given one hates. A real god would NEVER set up such a cruel system. Modern religions are anything BUT religious and more into power politics.
