Do the elders in the Watchtower Society cast a blind eye towards the use of deceit and the telling of lies?

If not, why haven't they been able to help you get a grip on your reprehensible behavior?

Again, let me repeat the question you are having trouble with, I (thinkofone) have singled out Jehoavs Witnesses because . . . . . (you fill in the blanks), it should not be very difficult.

Indeed but where is your definition of what constitutes a cult? If we are going to make assertions about what constitutes a cult then surely it is entirely logical to define what we mean by a cult.
A cult group professes a belief not shared by anyone else at that time.. That is what I mean.

Wow lots of comments on this thread.
Anyway you posted earlier that you were associated with a group at one time that I think you used the word cult in your comment.
What did they do in actions or teachings that you felt they were a cult?

What type of response are you looking for robbie:

"My mate the Devil told me to go hate Jehovah's Witnesses"...

"I'm a hater and need a hate object and the Jehovah's Witnesses will do fine"...

""Singling out Jehovah's Witnesses at that website RHP is what I love doing"...

I've already answered the question more than one and have repeatedly reposted my answers. I know it, everyone else knows it and you know it as well.

What do you think you gain by pretending that I have not answered your question?

Why do you continue to reinforce your reputation as a liar?

Do you really have so little regard for truth?

If "God is truth", then what does your chronic and habitual lying say about how you view God?

I guess I'm missing the lies you keep saying Robbie has told.

Could you just very simply show me just 1 and what he said was a lie in that 1 statement he has said?

How about the one near the top of page 15 of this thread?
As suspected you are nothing if not predictable, you were not asked if Jehovahs witnesses fit the definition of a cult, you were asked, why you singled Jehovahs witness out, to which you have failed to give any answer.

Given that I have provided two answers, I clearly have not "failed to give any answer". That makes his statement a lie. That he continues to pretend that I have "failed to given any answer" in the face of my repeatedly posting those answers shows him to be a chronic and habitual liar. No idea of how you could have possibly missed this if you've read through our discussion.

This final link includes an article asking if the JWs are a religion or a cult. However, 20 mins trawling through the plethora of horror stories witnessed by ex-witnesses will give the reader sufficient evidence that this morbid clan is indeed a cult by one definition or another.

There's some pretty disturbing stuff here.

I've always found it slightly curious and eye brow raising how the JW organisation, which is really only a fringe religious minority with 20 million members, has so many forums for those who left the organisation. When you consider that JW's make up 0.01% of the Christian population they have a disproportionate number of 'recovery websites' for ex members.

Interesting isn't it. Actually we are only about seven or eight million. I knew a guy, was quite close to him as a friend, he left the witnesses as well, started bitchin about them to other people through his blog, started actively apostatising against them, he left and went to some church, contacted all the other disgruntled witnesses who had left or who we kicked out for failing to uphold our high moral standard, they started bitchin as well (ironic considering, they were more active in doing that than they ever were as Witnesses) now he's an atheist. It highlights the point, these people are intent on telling only one side of the story, their side, they never highlight the good that we do and are simply intent on being negative. I posted a thread a while back, say something positive about Jehovahs witness and certain posters here could not even bring themselves to do it, guess what, they are usually the ones bitchin about us in this way. Leave them alone, blind guides is what they are. Interesting is that no other Christian organisation on this forum has been the subject of being singled out as worthy of censure as Jehovahs witness are. When i asked thinkofone why he did it, he could not answer, why are these others also intent on singling Jehovahs Witness out? I find that a far more chilling proposition to be honest and rather more telling.

Well at least you appear to be admitting that the testimony these people give about their experiences is part of the story.

I think you and galveston75 attract attention and debate because of the things you say and the way you behave. I reckon you'd get the same amount of attention if you were a couple of Muslims or Catholics or atheists.

Why indeed are Jehovah Witnesses being singled out? I think the answer lies in the Biblical text. Jesus stated of his followers that they would be objects of hatred? Was Jesus playing the hate card? Hardly, clearly his disciples were and are objects of hatred. This appears to me to be the reason, Jehovahs Witness as true disciples of Christ are subject to so much negativity. This fact is now being born out on this very forum.

(John 15:17-25) “These things I command you, that you love one another. If the world hates you, you know that it has hated me before it hated you. If you were part of the world, the world would be fond of what is its own. Now because you are no part of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, on this account the world hates you.
