I will try to stimulate things here a bit.

Churches based on a servant of God (no matter how useful) are a division and a work of the flesh-

Lutheran Church
Weslyan Church
Calvinist Church
Witness Lee Church (you thought I'd leave that one out?)
The Recovery Church

These is a deformity to the local church.

Churches based on particular doctrines are deformities.

Church of the Assumption
Pentecostal Church
Methodist Church
Premillenial Church
Pre-tribulation Church
Baptist Church
Presbyterian Church
Charismatic Church
Christian Science Church

Churches according to streets are a deformity.

First Street Church
Tenth Street Church
Park Avenue Church

Regional Churches are also divisions and deformities.

Southern Baptist Church
Missouri Senate Church

Churches according to countries or races are also a deformity and divisions of the flesh:

The Dutch Reform Church
The Greek Orthodox Church
The Church of England
The Black Church
The White Church
The Russian Church
The Korean Church
The American Church
The Chinese Church

These are some of the self defeating division which are a weakening to the dispensing of spiritual life.

Next I will take the example of the church in Corinth and demonstrate how this human tendency in its proto-typical form was creeping into the minds of the brothers and sisters in the genuine local church in Corinth.

No.

What are you getting at?

Do you have an argument that you are dying to present?

Yes, I have something to say about what God is doing today which I find very exciting.

It is a revolution of sorts really worthy of giving our lives to.
Coming back to the genuine local church life.

Please read Psalm 133 to see how God commands the blessing upon the unity of His people.

I must preemptively deal with some of the typical concerns raised at hearing about these divisions.

1.) Are you saying people in such divisions are not saved?

answer: No. They may be saved.

2.) Are you saying people in such divisions are not Christians?

answer: No. They indeed are Christian brothers and sisters if they are regenerated.

3.) Are you saying Christians in such divisions cannot be spiritual?

answer: No. They can be very spiritual. That is not the point.

4.) Are you saying that Christians in such divisions don't love Jesus like other Christians?

answer: No. I am not saying that. Some may love the Lord Jesus more than I ever will. THAT is not the point either.

5.) Are you saying all Christians in a city must meet in the same place?

answer: No. Like Jerusalem in the beginning they may meet in hundreds of houses - from house to house and even in a designated building or temple.

6.) Are you saying such Christians will not go to heaven or be saved?

answer: emphatically if they are believers in Christ they are just as saved as any other believers in Christ.

7.) Are you saying they have wrong doctrines?

answer: No not necessarily.
We can be divided yet have right teachings.

8.) Are you saying Jesus is not in their midst?

answer: No, Any two or three meeting in His name may have His presence

But any two or three meeting in His name do not have the right to call themselves a church necessarily. Other wise Jesus would not say two or three should take their problem to the church. (Matt. 18:17)

It is wonderful to meet in Christ's name and to have Christ's presence. But the division is self defeating. And some must overcome this tactic of the church's enemy hidden in the natural mind of people.

Yes. The second commandment of the Law of Moses was

Thou shalt not make any graven image

This was removed from their 10 commandments list.

Local churches have been in existence since the early church over 2000 yrs ago.
What is the excitement that we need to understand?
Are we to get excited because you only now discovered it?

Anyone who does not believe it is possible for a person to be born of the Spirit (born again) in the last 2,000 years has no business even talking about the local church.

He doesn't believe the New Testament church even exists, because his belief is that no one has been born of the Holy Spirit.

You continue to lick your wounds ... serves you right for believing in such a multitude of false nonsensical unbiblical doctrines.

There are two kinds of born-again. There is born of water. There is born of the spirit.

Born of water is baptism and it is at this point the Christians sometimes [though not always] receives Gods Spirit to guide them. This is NOT = BORN OF THE SPIRIT OR REGENERATION.

Born of the Spirit -= Regeneration takes place when Jesus returns, which he said clearly. You want ignore Christ then you go right ahead.

The local church has been in existence for over 2000 years. You are excited becuase you are only now discovering it... cool.

You cannot argue with this:

And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. (Matthew 19:28 KJV)

The regeneration takes place when Jesus returns

Have some patience. You are like a spoilt brat. You want everything now and you want to do nothing to get it but run your mouth and talk all day.
- You want eternal life without doing anything
- You want assurance of eternal life without even recognising what Jesus said about good works
- You want to be born of the Spirit without living rightously and waiting for the right time.

In Spirit - On the ground.
Two matters are crucial.

1.) To be living in the Spirit
2.) To stand upon the local ground for the practical God ordained ground of the church.

In Spirit - On the ground. Both are necessary for the normal Christian church life.
