But these very same persons believe that animal slaughter is funny.

They think teaching the youth of today falsity is funny

The question does not deserve an answer.

What makes you think they believe eating meat is "funny"? It is you they find funny. I eat meat. I don't find it "funny". What I find funny is your insistence that your personal spiritual prohibition on eating meat somehow applies to me too and that I am being "dishonest" when I reject the so-called "authority" that you subscribe to. But it's funny-peculiar, rather than funny-ha-ha.

Go read a book on the topic Ron for goodness sake. You keep asking these ridiculous questions - 'Where's the evidence? Where's the evidence?' In a book store, this ain't some secret knowledge reserved for a select few. Anyone with an inquiring mind can access these books, read them and then make an evaluation using their own 'noggin'. What's staggering is the most vocal evolution naysayers in this forum have never read a book on the topic, and some (my good friend Robbie Carrobie) point blank refuse to.

Can you explain how it's possible to indoctrinate oneself?! You see, my views on evolution came about by me buying books and also reading books from my local library on the topic. No one has ever 'taught' me anything on the subject, apart from postings on this website.[/b]

You know very well that its not my personal agenda but I have taken the transcendental knowledge from the authority the Vedas.

Your rejection of this authority is one of whimsical assertion and not a rejection based on knowledge.

On the other hand if you had transcendental knowledge you would not reject at all.

So your rejection is baseless.

So you are saying the only evidence you have is a made-up story
in some books. Now it looks like we are getting somewhere.

When I was young I had a pet cow that I had raised from a calf.
She was like a puppy dog. She would follow me around. Sometimes
when I wasn't paying attention to her, she would nudge me from
the back and I would rub her head and scratch behind her ears. I
would not want anyone to kill her for food.

Just remember we are all God's creatures and He has a plan that
will work out in the end. So hang in there.

This is how humans should relate to the lower creatures with kindness and understanding...............it is a sign of elevated consciousness to see all creatures as our bothers in the spiritual context of life.

I did not see the others in the same way and apparently neither did they.

From Hinds:

"Natural selection (better adapted organisms surviving to pass on genetic
material) cannot produce evolution because it produces no NEW genetic
material. Mutations are random changes in the genetic makeup of organisms.
Evolutionists say that mutations supply the new genes needed for evolution
to proceed. Changing the DNA does not produce New genetic material. "

What do you think "New" genetic material is? It is the mixing and matching that goes on from virus to virus, from bacteria to bacteria, A virus gives us new genetic material that is included in our DNA all the time. A good portion of our genetic code come directly from virus attacks. Our style of life had genes transmitted vertically, that is from one sexual union to the next, each generation getting bits and pieces from the parents and grandparents, etc.

Bacterium and virus's don't do it that way, they can share DNA sideways, that is directly from bacteria to bacteria, which is why they evolve so quickly and why we need sexual reproduction to keep one step ahead of the bad guys, the virus attacks and so forth. The plague attacks in the 1400's gave some protection to the London attacks in 1663 where it only killed 1/3. The rest had a new gene inserted,'CCCR5 Delta 32' to be exact. Those without that mutation died of the plague, those that had it survived.

There is also evidence that same mutation is what gives 2 percent or so of the population to survive HIV with no treatment, it turns out to be the same gene that gives protection to both HIV and Plague or black death as it was called back then.

That is an example of evolution in action. It was theorized until a village was found in England that had survived the plague years and the descendants were still there. Their DNA was tested and a majority were found to have the Delta 32 gene. It was proof of the effectiveness of that mutation.

It was evolution in action right in our own times.

I don't believe in evolution. I believe God made the genes and DNA.
I, however, know very little about genes and DNA, RNA, and all that
biology stuff. I have never had Biology in school past the 9th grade.
I was studying to be an Electrical Engineer and foreign language and
biology was not required courses. The information I quoted comes
from creationists websites. Since I am a creationist also I am counting
on them knowing the truth. So I can not really argue the point with you.
I can only say, I believe they are probably right and you are probably
wrong.
