I asked the great goddess if jesus lives. She told me nature lives.
You prefer a magical rock daddy ?
Your great -great- great ... grand daddy was a rock ?
You trace back your origin to a rock ?

You prefer a magical hairless ape daddy?
An ape came down out of the tree, lost his hair, stood up on two feet and that's where you came from ?

More rational stuff ?
You're following the herd of superstition.

Does an atheist give more value to a mortal life than a theist?
Life is precious and all sentient creatures treasure their lives deep down.
Whether they can access what is deep down is another story.

How you live is the important thing. Then yo die with no regrets, knowing you've done the best you can.

I hear Christians talking nonchalantly about regular human life while putting the life of Jesus and others on a pedestal.
We are all unique and every life is special - atheist or otherwise. To repeatedly put down others for whatever short-sighted reasons is , IMHO , just putting down ourselves.

Is that what atheists do? Make up lies to cover their fear?

Talk is cheap. When death comes knocking on your door tell it your great goddess said you're not afraid.

You're following the herd of superstition.
You ask silly questions. We don't know how life started, but we do understand how it evolved. Read your bible all you want, but you really should educate yourself about the world if you want to make sense when you speak to others.

You're the one that needs educating. Evolution is dead. There's no valid science to it. You're behind the times.

Agreed.
No one can come through life without their own narrative.
This narrative may involve words like 'truth ' and 'God' , but at the end of the day it's all just the story you write for yourself.
The actual truth lays bare without titles or names. Without form and all-pervasive we are enticed to see things as they actually are, without judgement or discrimination.

The truth has a name. His name is Jesus. He is the author of life, and all that exists. There are only two things. The creator, and everything else that was created. Pure logic.

You'll see.

If you don't know how it started then you really don't know how it evolved.
What was the very first instance of natural selection ?

Just use your imagination then. HOW do you think the process of Natural Selection FIRST got its kick start ?

Imagine for me a scenario in which this "selection" mechanism applied for the first time. Theorize it.

Turtles and Crocodiles seem quite successful to me.
If man were to become extinct most of the roaches would die.

After all your bluster you fail to see the connection others have with their own beliefs.
We respect your Christianity , don't belittle our beliefs because you cannot reconcile them with your own.
Seems you only value human life that agrees with you , otherwise yo have utter disdain for anyone who doesn't put Christ on a pedestal like you.

That's a name given by humans.

"Truth has a name. His name is Jesus" . Now you are just calling 'Truth' a person ( "His" ).

"There are only 2 things" . Come on give me a break .
This has got to be one of your most lazy replies ever.

This lazy attitude of you Christians just goes nowhere

I told you a true story. The longer version: On a solo hike deep in the mountains I found a spot to meditate and contemplate and introspect on Christianity in particular. I built a safe place in my mind and asked for insight and enlightenment. I did my best, and when I opened the circle and looked around, I found what I was looking for.

I learned that nature is real. Notice I didn't learn that any religion is false. The here-and-now is real, and that is what I should deal with. I will take death as it comes and deal with the consequences.

I have no fear of being dead. As a drop of water returns to the sea, so will I return to mother earth. She created me, she nurtured me, and she will embrace me when I die.

Even the Bible says so.

There oughta be a law like Godwin's Law except applicable to whoever mentions a variant of Pascal's Wager. Doing so is a digression from any rational basis of discussion and a bald attempt to induce fear. So unchristian. Sad. So sad.
