Give me a break will ya? Of course you can't prove it! Citing 'no evidence' as evidence for the existence or non-existence of anything is purely irrational.
All that exists is the evidence for and of itself. That the universe exists is proof for something. Not proof for nothing.[/b]
nope, its actually perfectly rational. its so rational its how we all generally manage to get through life without being scared of all the invisible monsters waiting to eat our eyeballs.

No big deal. It is just FF trolling and harassing me as he always does.
Napolean is dead. But he exists.
Death, according to the Bible, is not the end of existence.
If I should die today, physically I will depart the earth. But God the Creator and Redeemer has dimensions and realms still at His disposal that He maintains for His own purposes.
I will go in my immaterial part to one of those realms that God maintains and exist though I am dead. And I await there the resurrection and glorification of the body for -
First - the millennial kingdom of 1,000 years.
Secondly - for the eternal age of the new heaven and new earth after that.
The Christian has something which the world does not realize is more powerful than knowledge. He has something called faith.
Give me the God inspired faith.
Give me the faithful God to match my God inspired faith.
Give me the faithful word and testimony of someone as morally approvable as Jesus, and I am at peace with assurance.
I prefer these to the scientific knowledge or philosophical argumentation that man can offer me, on this matter.
"so that your faith might not rest in the wisdom of men but in the power of God." (1 Cor. 2:5)
Grampy, it is so very sweet to call our Father - Abba Eternity. For like joseph, I think, wrote from Isaiah 57, He inhabits eternity.
Our Father is eternity. Our Daddy, our Papa the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ is the uncreated and eternal One.
It is sweet get to know Him as Abba eternity Himself.

Sonship knew the answer, but RJHinds didn't. To me it seems that Sonship is the real Genius, and RJH is not.
Okay, Napoleon is dead. The answer is yes. How hard was that?
Maybe I overlooked some finer points.
Like I said, I only glanced a little over the talk.
But death is not the end of human existence as we seem to notice in God's revelation - the Holy Bible.

People have used the doctrine of eternity in one of two ways:
1. For the promise of good times after the bad time had here on earth. This was typically expressed in Negro Spirituals, which focused on the Chariot taking them Home, and the River that they will cross. (Aside: not sure if the N word is still allowed in this case. I apologize if it offends anybody)
2. For the threat of punishment to coerce other people into their way of thinking about God. This is the most common way in which the Afterlife is evoked here on RHP, by persons obsessed with the drive to change others to their point of view!
Yes, Jesus DID tell that parable about the rich man and poor Lazarus. But the vast majority of his parables and stories, as well as his actions, (mercy, compassion, healing, feeding) were based on the here-and-now. It is HERE were we live our lives and it is about the NOW that we should be concerned.
If we stop speculating about the length of eternity, and care more for our brothers and sisters right here, we will have carried out Christ's command to "Go and do thou likewise!"
