@PettyTalk saidAnyone here have any ideas on who is who in the world of false and genuine Christians?
What would a list dividing the two opposites look like?

The only way to know that is to know what each person truly believes, as opposed to what they say. Finding that information would be pretty difficult, - to say the least.
@divegeester saidThis is demonstrably incorrect.
This is demonstrably incorrect.
The Bible states “you shall know them by their fruits”
Oh, really? You might consider the Bible also says a number of other things on this subject. i.e.
For by grace, you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. - Ephesians 2:8-9
He saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit, - Titus 3:5
Perhaps not so "demonstrably incorrect" as you believe. π
@mchill saidNo need for a winky… he’s what was said by you in regards to recognising real Christians and fake Christians:

None of the scriptures you’ve quoted support your assertion here; those ads about HOW we are saved.
Do you have anything else which supports your assertion that it is “what each person believes”???
You Will Know Them by Their Fruits
15 “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. 16 You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles? 17 Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. 19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 Therefore by their fruits you will know them.
Matt 7: 15-20
@divegeester saidPractical and wise advice.
I was advised by my workplace travel not to put “atheist” on my visa application when I went there.

I can't make it any clearer to you than that. Perhaps you should go back and read the scripture verses I posted s-l-o-w-l-y. π
@mchill saidOh dear. Do you really not get it or are you pretending to not get it?

We aren’t talking about being saved by grace, we’re talking about how to know real and fake Christians.
You go back and have a read through from the op to our exchange
@mchill saidWell, if we cannot know who is who, then the next best thing would be to list those who seem/pretend to be one, or the other.

@PettyTalk saidAre you, of have you every claimed to be a Christian PettyTalk?

Here is a little push to get this moving in the "right" direction, by way of example. And what better example than one who is the talk of the town and of all the world, as well?
I'm talking about Donald J. Trump, a seeming false Christian. Donald is banking on Paul's lie of grace. By his obvious works, which have been widely described as the works which can be assessed to be just the opposite of what Jesus recommended, he expects to enter the Kingdom when he passes on. It's also rather obvious that Trump has been pretending to be a Christian all along just for the sake of getting votes. If there is a God, and a God's scripted plan/play, then Trump has been cast to be one of the top stars, and has a major role in this acting business, and its final act.
A false Christian may be all those that have bitten another "rotten" apple from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. That rotten apple is the belief that God's absolute justice, the final judgment of the works of man in this virtual physical world, carries no sentences. There's a price to be paid for the bad works, and a reward for the good works.
What Paul did was to lead all the sheep into the goats' pen, using the sweet musical tune of amazing grace. In other words, Paul has been leading the sheep into the wide gate all along, and the sweetness of grace will turn sour in the stomachs of those who have, and still are, being hoodwinked.

Edit: On a side note; you clearly have no idea what Paul wrote about grace.
@PettyTalk saidI think you’re either too scared or too embarrassed to state wether or not you are or have ever claimed to be a Christian.

The reasons underpinning that nuance in your psychological make up are probably far more interesting than some sort of silly playground list of who is and who isn’t a Christian.
It may be a safe bet that false Christians would fall inline with false Christs.
Another pointer as to who the false Christians may be, has to do with perseverance. Jesus said that the crowns would be given to those that endure to the end: "But the one who stands firm to the end will be saved." This implies that an indication of a true Christian is one who will be saved.
Also, I gleaned the following from another source, and which sounds like another good way to tell the difference between the false and genuine Christians.
In the Parable of the Sower (Matthew 13:1–9, 18–23), Jesus illustrates the varying responses to the message of the Kingdom of God, which is likened to the sowing of seeds. Each type of soil represents different conditions of the human heart in relation to accepting and living out the teachings of Jesus Christ. Here's how the parable identifies true Christians:
Good Soil: The seed that falls on good soil represents those who truly embrace the message of the Kingdom of God. These individuals allow the word to take root deeply within their hearts, producing a crop—a fruitful life that reflects the teachings of Jesus. This group is characterized by their commitment to living out the principles of Christianity, demonstrating the growth and maturity that comes from a genuine faith. Their lives bear fruit that glorifies God, indicating a deep and lasting impact of the message of the Kingdom on their lives.
The parable underscores the importance of not just hearing the word of God but allowing it to penetrate deeply into one's heart and life. True Christians are those who not only accept the message of the Kingdom but also allow it to transform their lives, producing good works and a life that reflects the teachings of Jesus Christ.
