I never said he used the year 1914. Perhaps you should look up the link I just posted to see why Jesus was pointing to that year. He did not say it as that year as the Bible never does use any specific years or days or months in any of it's explinations of the future.
This is where by connecting the dots and listening to what the scriptures are saying that one can learn what these prophesys mean and when they would happen.
Jesus did not say those words just for the heck of it and to keep everyone in the dark did he?

Has the prophecy come true?

The prophesy was in your organisation's magazine and it was very specific about 1914 - perhaps you should explain it.

Parts have but not all yet. Did you look at the link of our explination of that year?

Which parts have come true? And when will the remainder come true? How does the remainder coming true relate to "1914"?

And the specific wording "we prophesy it" was there?

Did you look up that link? If your not really trying to understand should I continue with this discussion?

"Most important, this magazine builds confidence in the Creator's promise of a peaceful and secure new world before the generation that saw the events of 1914 passes away." You contend that the above sentence is not a prophecy?

Well if you'd answer questions consistently it would enhance this discussion, that much is clear. It was Jesus' prophecy but the JW organisation added the specific "1914" to it; and then removed the specific "1914" from it in 1995?

This thread claims we made some prophesy about a generation. I want to see where that was said? If not this is a bogus statement and I wil not waist my time here any longer...........

It wasn't about "a" generation, it was about the "the generation that saw the events of 1914".
