Not only are you lacking intelligence, you are a liar. You do not know my kids nor do you worry about them.
I simply don't see how my concern about you brainwashing your children leads to me being a liar though. Those are strong words. I'm going to have to call your bluff and ask you to prove that I am not worried about the mental state of anyone who you get to talk to for long periods of time.
So, come on. Prove I am a liar.

No bluff, and I have absolutely no obligation to prove anything. Why don't you prove that you do worry. You are a liar and you know it.

There is a lot of evidence in that book, including a gravesite in Kashmir dated from that time that has cresents carved into feet on the gravestone, I think the name inscribed is Yassif Assiz, something like that. The archeoligists think that is the actual grave of Jesus and of course there are several supposed spots of his grave in and around Jerusalem. I saw those graves, used to live in Jerusalem. There is actual archeological evidence for that idea, that he did not die on the cross, and probably did not even get put on a cross. One thing they did in those days, an actual crusifiction is usually accompanied by breaking the legs so the victim has no support and has to hang down by his arms, hastening suffocation, which did not happen in Jesus' case. The next thing that the bible says is he was covered in herbs, not embalming herbs as if he were dead but stuff like Aloe, a known poultice, meant to heal. So he could very well have survived in a hidden place surrounded by a very small number of friends and then magically re-appear three days later. Makes much more sense to me than the idea that out of a trillion people born and died that that single individual would 'ascend' to heaven. Just use the concept of Occam's Skewer here, its the simpler explaination. Of course billions of christians would kill or die denying such a simple explanation and of course a billion christians CAN be 100% wrong.
Er. I'd be interested in reviewing the 'lot of evidence' for this.
I have a sneaky suspiscion that the amount of evidence is
probably comparable to the 'lots of evidence' for the fact that
He died and rose. That is, a few dated anecdotal accounts.
What is your source for the 'lot of monastaries' dating to the
time of Jesus? I've never heard of ...[text shortened]... formed,
but, I'm opened to reviewing your sources, if you can provide them.

You better hope that you are right, because if I am right your intellectual pride is leading you to an eternity of torment. If you are right, I am happy with my life and my kids are happy. Thus I win either way, and you stand to lose big time if you are wrong. I wouldn't trade my position for yours for anything.
Ok, fish, have a nice life.

The "current state" as I'm referring to it includes the time dimension. You can think of him choosing deterministic time paths then if that helps.

Your comments border on the moronic. The Catholic life is one of great joy. The virtue of hope puts the daily temporal and spiritual in perspective.
You have no knowledge of me or my family, but hubris leads you to judge us. I find it laughable.

For example, neither you, I, nor Scotty hope that the God of the Muslim fundamentalists--who will consign Christians and atheists alike to the eternal furnace--does not exist. This is because belief in His existence is so gratuitous and farfetched, we don't bother even considering it.
Why isn't your belief in a damning Christian God similarly gratuitous and farfetched?

Thus, I am not afraid of Allah condemning me to hell. He has no power over me unless I allow his evil to affect me. I pray that Our Blessed Lady will protect me from him.
