So sorry for your loss. I lost my mom a little over two years ago and it still hurts every minute.
But I think your dad's name on that spacecraft is awesome. I would be honored to have my mom's name on something like that. Take care....

just the Milky Way Galaxy. Nothing outside of that can be seen with the human eye.
You can see Andromeda galaxy with the naked eye barely.
The key is not to look directly at the fuzzy thing there but ever so slightly to the side. You'll see Andromeda as a fuzz.

Even if we don't currently have such a beast in the vicinity, it's early days for nanotech on Earth, and we are probably not the first sentients to sprout in the Cosmos.*
