Truth can be crushing to both spirit and drive. In contrast 'a well-intentioned lie' can boost morale and lead to a 12 percent increase in productivity.

Compare the 2:
Truth - "I see no potential in you whatsoever."
Lie - "Come on mate, I see potential in you. Try harder."

There's no need to lie to him. No manager worth his salt would need to.

How about ignoring him and calling the cops?
Come on, kiddo.

The wise lie all the time and prospers and is one of the sons of God.
The foolish man tells the whole truth to everyone and suffers the consequences.

How do you reconcile that with the following?
John 8
44“You are of your father the devil, and you want to do the desires of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth because there is no truth in him. Whenever he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own nature, for he is a liar and the father of lies.
Wouldn't such people only be "wise" in the eyes of men and be sons of the devil?
