@kellyjay saidTell me more about how you declaring yourself to be immortal is part of the only "objective" explanation of the universe that makes any "logical sense".
I get you too have beliefs, you assume that life is not eternal, you assume that
no one will stand responsible for things done in this life. Assumptions that there
is no standard right and wrong for everyone equally without respect for the
person. You don't see how now can only be understood by how it all came to
be, without taking the whole into account. Anyone can make ...[text shortened]... up they
want about any part of life while ignoring the parts that don't fit in the whole
picture.

@kellyjay saidNeither of us knows "how it all came to be". I am willing to admit it. You, meanwhile, have your religious faith and you feel the need to big-it-up by claiming it makes you "know" things that are, in fact, just your personal opinions.

that passed from this life were still living. It is the second death where we fail to
come to the Lord of life and are completely cut off from it.
When God created life, He shared with the plants, animals, and us the ability to
multiply making new life, the whole of creation was to be fruitful, and now we
spend a lot of time embracing death and denying life, ceasing to be fruitful
instead. Now it is thought that death is just a natural part of this creation, a
needed part to evolve into something other than what we are, never being
satisfied with now.
@fmf saidGod gives us His Spirit when we are His, you either have it or not.

@kellyjay saidI know what the tenets of your faith are, KellyJay. If the only "narrative" that makes "logical" sense to you is a religious one, so be it.

@fmf saidYou can call it religious or by any other descriptive word you choose. It doesn’t matter how you feel about the narrative it only matters if it reflects reality or not. There are not religious truths and scientific truths there is only truth.
