Its funny that you are here supporting Robbie even though is main argument totally contradicts your claims over in the science forum. I notice though that you have run away from there once you realized your claims were easily proved wrong.

i notice that you also were unable/unwilling to calculate a simple probability, because it contradicted your stance and evaded it completely, i also notice that you have refused to tell the forum why the words of Christ should not be taken literally, i also notice that you have as yet to provide one shred of evidence to your other claims at to why the bible is not internally harmonious, why the prophecies are scant and why it should not be considered inspired, for as the claims you make go on unresolved, your already scant credibility diminishes to minus!

I'm not aware I was proved wrong. I don't think I was so I haven't ran anywhere.

i have given the figures, what you have written dear Noobster is just another opinion, and i note does away with the fact that many of the species you wish to include could have survived perfectly well outside of the ark, you did not, and i repeat, did not in any way invalidate what i have w ...[text shortened]... ensuing, nothing like an innocent Christian to attack in order to re-galvanise your prejudices!
Robbie you are an absolute lunatic.

First things first, the Bible is explicit that all animals had to go on the Ark, nowhere does it metion that some animals could survive outside, your just making it up.

You are to bring into the ark two of all living creatures, male and female, to keep them alive with you. 20 Two of every kind of bird, of every kind of animal and of every kind of creature that moves along the ground will come to you to be kept alive. 21 You are to take every kind of food that is to be eaten and store it away as food for you and for them Genesis 6 19:21

If you could kindly point out to me where it states in the Bible that some animals survived outside the Ark i would like to read it. Because i can't find it.

Rob, i have proven that to store all the animals on the Ark with their food and water is ludicrous, there isn't enough room. If you would like to point out to me exactly where i have gone wrong in my calculations i would be most grateful.

[from an impartial observer]: indeed, Fabian, I think Zahlazni is making a point there and can understand his frustration, especially given the fact that you both represent (it seems so!) the same side in this debate.

p.s.
it's such fun reading this 😉

There's no evidence of a massive flood in ice core samples.

Debunk that.

Well the evidence is earthwide. If you can't open your eyes to see that then our conversation is done.

If the evidence is worldwide why is there no evidence of a global flood in the ice cores?

If you have evidence which shows otherwise, i'd like to see it

What evidence would you like to see in the ice cores? Could it be the ice caps and glaciers formed after the flood as now that the water expance was no longer up in the atmosphere to protect the earth from the direct rays of the sun which kept the earth like a hothouse and now being gone would allow much colder weather and temps to happen in the upper and lower latitudes which would allow for the ice caps and glacial sheets to form? Give that some thought before you answer....

Why is this not true?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_Sea_deluge_theory

And why else did the Israelites have to learn about this event from an older culture?

And Jehovah brought the ones he decided he wanted to go into the ark.
