Also, the OP could likewise be extrapolated to cover a wider 'transhuman' trend amongst progressive thinkers. For instance, the whole in vitro with egg and donor, which involved millions of babies (data from 2005), playing up the basic rights to life. This has been caution ...[text shortened]... e but obviously a hybrid of some sort, would introduce more hierarchic levels of human class beings.

I forget what animal human combination it was but a few years ago they had a scientific breakthrough, outside of any regulatory boards, making a hybrid embryo. And didn't look cute, it was gross.
