What say you?
I think the Mosaic law was quite different from the teachings of Christ.

I think the indwelling of God’s Holy Spirit in believers is a radical departure from the Old Testament.

I think living by the Spirit is much different than living under the law.

You have a reference that explains that? That sounds like more church speak and unbiblical. The New Covenant is that through the blood of Christ, Christians now have a new life and a new arrangement where the sacrifice of animals is not required. Christ is there for remission of sins. Paul in Hebrews 9 and 10 explains in detail how this new arrangements ope ...[text shortened]... here remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, (Hebrews 10:26 KJV)[/i]

Its not all fun and games.
Paul was speaking to Christian Jews who were thinking of abandoning Christianity and returning to Judaism and its sacrificial system. Paul was saying the Old Testament sacrificial system no longer exists.

Agreed. There are quite a few aspects about the Christian faith for which there's not nearly enough time and space to cover in this format.

Ephesians 3:8,9
Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ;
And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:

Do you actually think I'm going to give credence to your view of the scriptures when you don't even believe the fundamentals of the faith?

When you can identify who Christ is as a person and not just as an ideological figure, then we can converse.

Let's talk about what the scriptures say about who Jesus Christ is, otherwise there's no point in talking at all.

Suit yourself. A lame excuse because you know when it comes to quoting the bible I will whip your boney butt. Your knowledge extends only as far as what the church preaches.

As for your question, Im with the disciples...

He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am?
And Simon Peter answered and said,
Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.
And Jesus answered and said unto him,
Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona:
for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee,
but my Father which is in heaven. (Matthew 16:15-17 KJV)

You got that?
Simon Peter said it
Jesus is the Son of God
Jesus said Peter is blessed.
Who told Peter that?
Not the pastor
Not the church leaders
Not Isaiah
WHO ??
GOD ... HE REVEALED THAT FACT TO PETER

God reveals the exact same fact about Christ to Christ sheep.
You are clearly not one.
If you believe a different doctrine, then God is not with you.

"Your knowledge extends only as far as what the church preaches."

My knowledge of the scriptures extends from Genesis to Revelation. My doctrine comes from God's Word, not from a church. Your continuous insistence that it does only serves to make you look and sound like a bigoted hypocrite.

And as far as your brag about quoting scripture, anyone can cut and paste verses, and Satan is famous for it.

"If you believe a different doctrine,.."

Your doctrine denies the deity of Christ. Yours is the "different" doctrine. It is the doctrine of the watchtower and of devils.

"... then God is not with you."

Colossians 1:27
To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory: italics mine

God is not just with me, but in me, which is far more than you can say of yourself.

God revealed to Peter who Christ was. The church told you something else.

Calling what God revealed to Peter the doctrine of devils says a lot about what the church has done to your ability to think.

May I suggest you read the Gospel of John chapter 1 and the book of Hebrews chapters 1 and 2? That should help your understanding of Jesus.

There might be a link. 😉

In tribute to the OP of this thread I will display an online disinhibition and declare that man in his perfect state is vegetarian, a shepherd of animals rather than a hunter. Meat eating was a concession made by God after the flood when he recognized mankind had become closer to the beast and no longer in his perfect image.

If a Christian truly strives to become more like God, they should abstain from the beefburgers. (Eating fish is cool though, as Jesus himself promoted that). Oh, and need to give away all of their wealth.

So you believe all the churches are deceived and only Rajk has the truth? Is that about it?

Do you only eat animals?

I'm guessing you're an omnivore, like bears.

The truth of Jesus is revealed in the Bible, if you cannot accept all of the Bible as truth, how can you accept any of it as truth?

The truth of Jesus was revealed by God to the disciples and sheep of Christ.
The church reveals what they want to their flock.

One doctrine is of God, the other is of men.

Which doctrine do you feel is specifically taught by all churches but contradicts what Jesus taught?
