The quote I pasted did have churchspeak, but that was not the aspect I hoped would be the focus. I hoped people would pick up on mutual condemnation preventing reconciliation. Even preventing civil conversation. Oh well.

Jesus loved lamb too. Jesus wasn't a vegetarian.

But yes, it would be better to eat veggies and fruit as did Adam and Eve, but then there are other factors associated with the fall that effected the environment to take into account.

When God told Noah to eat meat it was for a reason. The original environment provided necessary nutrition, but now it doesn't. There are certain essential amino acids the body needs that only meat can provide.

Was Jesus the Son of God before He was born of the Virgin Mary? Or was He simply God?

Read the Gospel of John chapter 1 and Hebrews 1 and 2 for the answer!

In not sure I care to address your posts which you have made several of recently. My focus is identifying where the church has departed from the teachings of Christ. I have no other interest. such as, getting churches to agree, for people to agree, for people to be nice to me, for people to get along with me ...whatever. Christians here do not agree with what I say here all the time. Mu focus is the teachings of Christ first and the Apostles second.

I have no problem with your focus being what it is. It is a little difficult to reconcile your stated disinterest in getting people to agree with you, with the vociferousness of your disagreement with them, about the teachings of Christ and the Apostles. But I'll take your testimony as to your disinterest to be what you say it is, since you do so little, if anything, to get people to actually agree with you. I guess you really don't care abut them or their fate.🙂

In mark Jesus asked His disciples "whom say ye that I am".

You are dead wrong in saying God revealed to Peter who Christ was. That is not in the text.

The question Jesus asked was who am I? God revealed to Peter that Jesus was the Christ.

You are dead wrong, and you run off from your gross error when it's pointed out to you with your typical rhetoric of spiritual cowardice.
