I'm genunely surprised you can't tell the difference between hostility and apparent hostility after having known ToO for so long. He did gift you a sub not so long ago.
I was dying to make that debate available and needed an excuse and some good candidates to enjoy it.
Hey, it is not as if the negative side didn't do a good job to present his arguments. Kenneth Humphreys had some good points as usual.
No hostility and very civil IMO.
You know I'm bias for Gary Habermas who historically justifies that the early Christians at least BELEIVED early in Jesus rising and did not concoct it 80 to 200 years afterwards.

Once again, it might help if you directly answer the following question instead of talking around it:
<<Given that, how can God's "ethical standards" be reasonably determined?>>
There are many people calling themselves His, that have nothing to do with Him in their
lives outside of naming His name. Yet they do not know Him, they do not have His Spirit
so they walk as they choose not following God's Spirit.
So, the ethical standards of those who name God as their Lord is a broad variety since
many are doing their own things not God's.

Good to see you back posting again CalJust.
Yes, it's been a while.
But the quality of the responses is pretty pathetic, don't you agree?
KJ has the predictable Fundamentalist response which merely demonstrates what the problem really is.
Only one other person referred to religious intolerance, but he seemed to come from another planet.
Then it was quite amusing to see how quickly these things frazzle out into the usual bickerings!
Oh well, it was worth a shot.
At least I see that you are still going strong!

Obviously you are a bigot who believes the topic to be a joke.

Came across this quote from Hans Küng at the Goedgedacht Inter-Faith Chapel near Cape Town:
"No peace among the Nations
without peace among the Religions.
No survival for our globe
without a Global Ethic"
Comments?
Any attempt by man to bring about a unified confederacy of nations under the banner of a "Global Ethic" not in accordance with the truth of the one and only living God will result in the dismal failure already demonstrated by history.
Man is dust without his maker.

The funny thing is that this jack off does not even u understand it is not peace amount religions but peace for the world. Even atheists and agnostics must come on board which this idiot does not seem to understand.
The topic is simply a world wide common belief system not limited to quote religions unquote.

It's interesting also to note the Muslims unfortunately know the wrong Jesus.

Do you really believe it is in man to achieve anything remotely resembling peace? Ever?!
You would be naive of you if you did.
