You have no idea what an atheist thinks or doesn't think.
But we both speculate because of the evidence we see. It is
just that some of us are better at evaluating the evidence than
others because we believe in the Word of God. π

That's true, but when have ever made that claim? Answer, never.
As for the rest of the post, it's nonsense.

Nonsense to you because you do not understand some truths.
I was buked and rebuked for supposedly not being respectful enough at Atheist Christopher Hitchens' passing away.
Then I found out how Hitchens acted at the death of Jerry Falwell. Of course atheists who notice that I point out this behvarior of Hitchens at a vocal Christian's death, will probably assume that I must have been a great fan of Jerry Falwell, which I was not.

I am not an atheist by the way.

Perhaps latter, I am going to reply to one or two things I recall Hitchens saying. That is his critcisms that I may have never heard replied to to my satisfaction.
Christopher Hitchens said God made man sick and then commanded man to be well.
I don't see that at all in the Bible. I see God made man innocent and neutral. In fact he was very good, but he was neutral between two sources. He was to choose and what he chose made him SICK.
The sickness then was of man's choice. Now about God cammanding man to be well.
Okay, If we take the Old Testament and the Ten Commandments, we might have the impression that God is commanding the sick man to be well. But ACTUALLY what we have is God PROVING to the sick man (who does not think he is so sick ) that he is indeed sick.
The LAW of God was given not primarily to keep but primarily to EXPOSE the proud, self relient, self righteous sick sinner that he does have a problem. Man thinks he is OK. OR man does not realize the extent of the sickness.
Now the cure. The CURE to the sickness commences by believing into the Son of God who is health incarnate so to speak. Positionally and dispositionally the sickness of man is dealt with by the priniciple of FAITH.
Rather than God commanding the sick man to be well, God does command the sick man to get into a union with One who is totally healthy. And that union, that incorporation is accomplished by FAITH.

What's more interesting is that although I accept that he is a Christian because he says so, he is unable to demonstrate the same common decency in return and accept that I am not a Muslim despite the fact that I have told him I'm not several times.
Is that supposed to be an insult?
