Was it appropriate for any Christians to have been chanting "Send her back!" about Rep. Ilhan Omar, who is a U.S. citizen but who was born in Somalia, at that political rally in North Carolina a couple of nights ago?
It really sounds like you want to be posting in the debate forum but just aren't.

Oh well.

If Christians can vote for people who legalize gay marriage & support the murder of unborn children, why can't they chant about how they don't want people that despise their heritage & country in their nation?

That's my thought on it.

But they were chanting "Send her back!"

They weren't chanting "You despise your country!"

They weren't chanting "Don't despise your country!"

They weren't even chanting "They should migrate!"

Do the Christians amongst those who were chanting "Send her back!" want the president to send political opponents to other countries, do you think?

It's hyperbolic political speech.

Surely, you know that.

Worthy of a Christian, to your way of thinking?

Why not?

Christians can be outraged at their country being overrun by foreigners who hate their values, and they can chant something hyperbolic, can't they?

We are all held to the standard of monks on the Holy Mountain when it suits the needs of the left, but no one is interested in raising the question of whether or not Christians should ever be supporting gay marraige, are they? They are happy if there is any hypocrisy in that regard.

Rather than 'why not?', can you make a case why it is a Christian kind of outrage to chant in favour of deporting lawmakers of certain ethnic minorities? Political hyperbole aside, does the specific message in the chanting reflect Christian values?

To NOT chant "Send her back!" does not require the self-restraint required to be one of the "monks on the Holy Mountain".

People are very interested in raising that question and have done on this forum more times than I can remember. Do you think Christians who support gay marraige should be deported to the countries where their parents or grandparents came from?

Aren't most immigrants from Central and Southern America Christians?

Wouldn't a better chant for a Christian living in a democracy be something along the lines of"

"If you don't like the way things are, stand for election!"

It doesn't go against Christian values to want to deport people from your country who hate your traditions and idels, no.

Christian political thought can take a lot of forms and I recognize the large variety of ways that people can actually spin things so I try to not be overly judgmental of the positions Christians take.

Why?

Christianity doesn't mean that you have to be milquetoast.

Lol, no.

Edit: you're aware that Rep. Omar is an immigrant who may also have assisted her brother in committing immigration fraud, right?

If you're personally comfortable living in a country that chants 'send her back' then good for you. (I guess).
