@philokalia said"Milquetoast"?
Why?
Christianity doesn't mean that you have to be milquetoast.
You see the chant of "Send her back! Send her back!" as a demonstration of bravery and strength? Are you sure? What do you think is the opposite of "milquetoast"?
@ghost-of-a-duke saidWas America a country worth living in sixty years ago?
If you're personally comfortable living in a country that chants 'send her back' then good for you. (I guess).
@philokalia saidI've heard Alex Jones talking about it.
you're aware that Rep. Omar is an immigrant who may also have assisted her brother in committing immigration fraud, right?
@fmf saidThe comment was more about how it's perfectly acceptable for Christians to have far left or far right beliefs as long as they don't actively support something that is unchristian like murder.

We can even be radical libertarians.
It's important to not limit what Christians can be.
@philokalia saidIs "If you don't like the way things are, stand for election!" a "milquetoast" exhortation?
Christianity doesn't mean that you have to be milquetoast.
Do you agree with the idea that people who don't like the way things are should stand for election?
As far as the milquetoast comment...
I like making fun of people who are always clutching at pearls and act like any departure from the Norms of some kind of offense. People are allowed to have radical beliefs and they can square these with plenty of worldviews that are completely moral very proud of the fact that I have friends who are the far-left and far-right. And I really enjoy discussing politics from these sorts of radical positions.
You could say that I'm even a little bit contemptuous of people who trying to close everything around they're boring and trank worldviews and pretend that everything that doesn't explicitly pay lip service to their holy cows is blasphemy.

@philokalia saidAre you a milquetoast kind of person?

I like making fun of people who are always clutching at curls and act like any departure from the Norms of some kind of offense. @philokalia saidWho do you think you are making fun of with your 'milquetoast comment' on this occasion?
I like making fun of people who are always clutching at curls and act like any departure from the Norms of some kind of offense.
@philokalia saidIt's a credible story then, according to you?
You could also read about it in the main newspaper of Minneapolis and St. Paul.

@philokalia saidIs this what the "Send her back! Send her back!" chant was really about?
you're aware that Rep. Omar is an immigrant who may also have assisted her brother in committing immigration fraud, right?
@philokalia saidExcuse me, you moron. Same sex marriage is LAW in this country. Do you know what a law is ? The Supreme Court ruled it a RIGHT . Sorry if it rubs your bigoted butt the wrong way . If you want religious law, move to Iran.
Why not?
Christians can be outraged at their country being overrun by foreigners who hate their values, and they can chant something hyperbolic, can't they?
We are all held to the standard of monks on the Holy Mountain when it suits the needs of the left, but no one is interested in raising the question of whether or not Christians should ever be supporting gay marraige, are they? They are happy if there is any hypocrisy in that regard.
And take your MAGA hat with you !
