Was it appropriate for any Christians to have been chanting "Send her back!" about Rep. Ilhan Omar, who is a U.S. citizen but who was born in Somalia, at that political rally in North Carolina a couple of nights ago?

Philokalia will be along later to tell us that “send her back” is not personal but just a generic token statement of protest against people who hate their country but it might not be their country if they are second generation people of colour.

No, it was not. No, it is not.

Christians who support this president should be ashamed. Supporting him upholds no Christian principles and I would say goes so far as to violate some.

I sincerely doubt that Rep. Omar hates the country she is a citizen of. I'm not so sure about the president.

I think overturning Roe v Wade would be entirely in line with the Christian principles of many Christain voters, your own support for Roe v Wade notwithstanding. Some Christians would argue that there is no more important an issue in America than getting "pro-life" judges onto the Supreme Court and that objections to and approval of other aspects of a Trumpism take a back seat to that.

No it was not appropriate.
But many Christians use their religious texts as an excuse for their own hateful behavior. I wonder what the response from the worldwide Christian community will be.

Maybe, but Dinner Salad might be more appropriate.

@caissad4

I didn't like that kind of chanting.
But I only heard of it.
