What amazes me is you quote these statements then turn back some persecution in Christ's name obviously.

Now if they were Muslims, for example, we simply would not have this problem. 😠
If only Christians like yourself would actually follow the teachings of Jesus.

Like usual, you avoid passages such as John 8:32-36 which prove my position by attacking me instead.

But because you say Jesus taught that one must stop sinning in order to be saved, I would like to know if you are saved. That's why I keep asking whether or not you have stopped sinning.

The rest of us haven't. Have you? Man! You may well be the only living person that is saved.
I dont mind ToO not answering that directly. He's already stated his position on answering those types of questions a few times. I'm satisfied with that, why aren't you? I mean just leave it alone now man. ToO has his consience (and all that that entails (Jesus or whatever)..) to contend with and no one else.

I hold them personally responsible for any bad results rather than God. 😛
The ball was flying around for the quicks in Brisbane in the Shield game on the weekend. Queensland were skittled for their lowest totals ever (70something and 90something) as New South Wales went on to win by an innings and 80 odd runs 🙂

So if similar conditions prevail and the Aussies win the toss I believe we may be in for a bloodbath yet. However I must admit that the poms seem as if they are training hard, employing some new training methods even...

The first session is always one of the best for the summer.

Yes people may scoff at your observation, but its easy to see a sportsmans automatic reaction and body language as they respond to the situation on the field. A fine model for studying psycology.

have you ever tried putting this scripture in the context of the entire Bible, if not, why not, and if not, on what authority do you choose to negate all other teaching with the exception of the words of Christ.
Have you ever put the Bible in the context of the many other fine "religous" literature that abounds everywhere?

I get stuff like that all the time. It's just a way to avoid discussing what Jesus actually said since it is incompatible with their beliefs. The fact is that they choose not to believe Jesus.

yes i have the Gita someplace, had the Koran, had the book of Mormon at one point, even read the Scientology book that i found in the laundrette when i was a student, have studied the occult, looked into transcendental meditation, read some books that i bought from a Hari Krishna nun that used to solicit for donations near where i used to live, etc etc You see Karoly i made a diligent search of religion, none of it was as practical as the application of Biblical principles, for Christianity is not about self, its about transcending oneself through self sacrifice.

Well now I dont believe I have treated you any worse than you've treated me, but other than the way that that part of your post sounded I liked the rest.
It will be hard for me not to attend the first day .
The incense will be made of strong (secret) stuff that will me like a magic potion wafting through the ether, through time and space itself, and permeate every waking thought of those English f-er...gentlecricketers.
I tell you Robbie if we have those lovely clouds around for the first day and Ponting puts them in, it'll be a fine spectacle as the English batsmen duck and dodge the Aussie pace battery lead my Mitchell.

Yes I did, and my point is how you are returning remarks with what you cpy pst of what Christ said, adding your little persecutions, put downs of another, along with expressing Christ's sentiments.

I have notice in more than a few of your posts slight innuendos of discouraging results, rather than express how they are just missing something, you come off as they are absurd and with no understanding.

I'm sorry, but this is why I have stated why the persecuting in Christ's name.
