The Eternal Son

Revelation 21 and 22 is the glimpse into eternty AFTER the Son delivers up the kingdom to His God and Father that God may be all in all. (1 Cor. 15:27,28)

Now let's look at the seat of administration, the throne in eternity. It is "the throne of God and of the Lamb."

"And he showed me a river of water of life, bright as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb in the middle of its street." (Rev. 22:1)

After the millennial kingdom the THRONE is of God and of the LAMB. The Lamb is the Son of God, the Redeemer, the God-man Jesus Christ.

The throne of eternal administration is the throne of God "AND OF THE LAMB. "

The Triune God is indicated. And the Son of God is on the eternal throne.
And eternal life in the Holy Spirit is pouring out forever from the seat of divine administration.

The Triune God is reigning and ruling by dispensing Himself as life to the whole city New Jerusalem. How can Divegeester teach that the Son of God is out of an office ?

The Eternal Son

Revelation 21 and 22 are a glimpse into the eternal age of the new heaven and new earth. This is after the Son has delivered up the kingdom to His God and Father that God may be all in all.

On the eternal throne is God and the LAMB.

in fact GOD is the light and the LAMB is the lamp which embodies the light.

God is the LIGHT.
The LAMB is the LAMP embodying the LIGHT for eternity.

"And the city has no need of the sun or of the moon that they should shine it it, for the glory of God illumined it, and its lamp is the Lamb." (Rev. 21:23)

Now grasp this. In eternity, the central THRONE is the throne "of God and of the Lamb" (Rev. 22:1)

And the LIGHT is in the LAMP. And the Lamb is on the throne. (Rev. 21:23).

How can Divegeester teach that the Son of God is not eternal or has no ministry, office, function, or reigning after the millennial kingdom?

@divegeester

This is the way Divegeester mocks the word of God.

HAIRDRIER ON MAX!

In the meantime all these verses in Revelation 21 and 22 prove that the Son of God still reigns and has His perpetual priesthood for eternity.

Of course we were plainly told that in 2 Peter. 1:11

" ... the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ" (2 Pet. 1:11)

The Eternal Son

Folks you have to remember, when DIvegeester shuts his ears, that means HAIRDRYER.

When DIvegeester shuts his eyes, that means WAFFLE.

But we can open our eyes and our ears and perceive that the Son of God is eternal with a PRIESTHOOD which is FOREVER.

" You are a Priest forever" (Heb. 7:17)

There is no need for Divegeester's tricky word games and "gotcha!" questions.

To teach the truth it is not necessary that you CONTROL another peron's mouth.

I don't need to in some stupid way CONTROL you to write what I want you to say for some embarrassment value.

It is good enough to let the Bible SPEAK. And to let ALL of it speak and not just some preferred section.

You have taught us a valuable lesson, indirectly. It is not necessary to CONTROL others to bring out the truth of the Scriptures.

After the Son delivers up the kingdom to His God and Father that God may be all in all He is still on "the throne of God and of the Lamb".

And with the [plural] "sons" who reign forever and ever, He takes the lead to reign forever and ever.

For the eternal purpose of God is to conform many sons into the image of the Firstborn Son. (Romans 8:28,29)

He does not conform them to the Firstborn Son and then discard the Firstborn Son.

Rather they become His corporate WIFE and He their Husband forever.

@divegeester
Divegeester writes:

The purpose of the office of the son is not eternal, there is no “eternal son” mentioned in the Bible. The office of the son shall hand over all things to the office of the Father, as it says in scripture. The office of the son shall no longer exist but Jesus will forever be the visible physical expression of God the father.

Before the creation of the universe, before the foundation of the world God had a purpose in His heart to have SONS with His life and nature.

"Even as He chose us in HIm before the foundation of the world to be holy and without blemish before Him in love, Predestinating us unto SONSHIP through Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will,

To the praise of the glory of His grace with which He graced us in the Beloved." (Eph. 1:4-6)

If God has no more need for the Son of God yet has "sons" of God this makes no sense.

[T]he Beloved, the Beloved Son through whom God obtains many sons unto "sonship" is by no means fired, discharged, nullified, or deprived of office or position WHILE the "sons" God had THROUGH Him live and reign forever and ever (Rev. 21:7;22:5) .

Does it make sense that God's predestinated "sons" enjoy sonship as a position yet THE Son in Whom He brought them about is deprived any position?

This directly goes against the Father telling the Son that His throne is forever and ever because He is GOD.

But of THE SON, 'Your throne, O God, is forever and ever', and the scepter of uprightness is the scepter of Your kingdom.' (Heb. 1:8)

1.) The SON is God. Yes.

2.) The throne and thus position and office of the Son is "forever and ever". Yes.

All the promises of God find their Yes and Amen in Christ. (2 Cor. 1:19,20)

For the Son of God, Jesus CHrist, ... For as many promises of God as there are, in HIm is the Yes; ..." (See 2 Cor. 1:19,20)

To this we should add, for Divegeester to be refuted is for the other party to be "prickly."

The purpose of the office of the son is not eternal,

But God addresses the Son as God and says His throne is forever and ever.
"But to the Son, 'Your throne O God, is forever and ever,

and the scepter of uprighteness is the scepter of Your kingdom.' " (Hebrews 1:11)

Is the office of the Son's throne temporary or forever and ever ?

[quote] [b]"But to the Son, 'Your throne O God, is forever and ever, ...

there is no “eternal son” mentioned in the Bible.

You say there is no "eternal son". But the Bible says of the Son - His throne is forever and ever.
