@ghost-of-a-duke saidI don't expect her to discuss this topic in good faith having suddenly ended months and months of dodging. I have a post further up this page that starts with "It's interesting how you have edited it." I doubt she has the joined-upness needed to address it. Even you just edited it so it was out of context so you could simply blurt out an incurious ad hominem.
Why is anybody required to 'unequivocally' answer questions to yours and FMF's satisfaction? Her post makes her position blatantly clear.
@ghost-of-a-duke saidWe can read what the scriptures say about sin, and thereby go to the revealed Word of God. We know that there are things that the scripture is exceedingly clear that this is good that is bad, and in other places it falls out to our conscience or faith. What is righteous matters, do we accept what is right or are we trying to justify something unrighteous?
Please link to a biblical passage that says abortion is a sin against God. Or do you speak on behalf of God as to what He does and doesn't consider a sin?
I have already posted biblical references where God doesn't seem to view the life of the unborn as sacrosanct. (Far from it). - It is not enough for you to find a generic biblical passage about all life being pre ...[text shortened]... God etc). - And aren't you also in favour of capital punishment? (Or am I remembering that wrong? )

@fmf saidYou keep blabbering on about being on the receiving end of ad hominems and yet repeatedly refer to people as delusional and paranoid. (Or worse).

@ghost-of-a-duke saidLoving God and each other are the top two commandments, so how we treat each other matters! A mom normally loves her kids, typically laying down her life taking care of her kids. So having her kid’s limbs ripped off their bodies or their brains sucked out of their heads to kill them runs counter to loving their own kids. Passing that off as righteously acceptable due to their self determination runs counter to love.

@kellyjay saidIt's ok if you don't want to answer the 2 questions I put to you.

@kellyjay saidNever mind that the vast majority of abortions are performed before the fetus has any of those things.

@kellyjay saidAhem.
"Do you think repentance is required for something you don't consider a sin before God?"
Do you think the human heart could justify something God considers sin and therefore sin against God by that sin? From there be content they are justified in their own eyes, their good is good enough?
So now YOU can read God's heart?
It is this exact kind of thing that makes the concept of a Republican Christian an abomination.
@ghost-of-a-duke saidExactly.
Always found it odd when a Christian was anti abortion but pro capital punishment.
Both are founded on this concept of bringing the guilty to terms with their sin.
Like that is THEIR job.
@fmf saidWould you like your binky back?

@divegeester saidReally now, and here I thought you could read.
Why not just answer the question.
So weird that you won’t given your hardline views on the topic itself.
