Why doe this happen?
If someone is subscribing to the belief that animal cruelty is not wrong, and I present the truth that it is most definitely wrong, then their belief shall be turned upside down and they shall become offended if they are dishonest.
If they are honest they will see the error in subscribing to the belief that animal cruelty is wrong and probably thank me for showing them that.
Can you now see that belief and honesty/dishonesty are intimately related.
Telling someone they are being dishonest, and telling someone they are a liar.....are not the same. (you know this)
I have never mentioned the word liar in this forum.
Why have you presented this as so.
You speak of a genuine discussion, but a discussion where persons are speaking dishonestly is never genuine.
Persons in position of power (teachers) who teach false knowledge, are abusing the child....can you deny this?
Persons who teach absurdity (life has no intelligent directive) are mentally challenged.....do you deny this?
You keep thrusting this word vanity at me.....does this mean that when I ask for and expect truth in what persons are presenting.....I am being vain?
It seems to me you are championing freedom to teach absurdity, present falsity and respect dishonesty.....if you were not you would not be against me.

You have no interest in the spiritual subject matter or content of the posts, but you are a serial debater.
With me you are debating that I should respect false beliefs, absurd teachings and dishonesty.
I have said I will call persons who are cruel to animals dishonest, because no sane person could subscribe to that with conviction.
But instead of supporting me in this truth you are wanting to debate that cruelty to animals is acceptable.

And now that you have taken that stand...... is it not true you are dishonest as well?
