I never claimed that executions in the US were 'a legitimate parallel'. In fact, I already pointed out to you that that was never my intention. Lets see if you display honesty and admit that I already pointed that out and that you are therefore wrong to expect me to admit to an error you know I did not make.

🙂

See, I can act like you if I want to. But rather than that, why don't you try to listen to what I am actually trying to say for a change instead of all the defensiveness. What I am saying is that your OP expects us to make a judgment about Islam based on rather flimsy evidence.
I would like you to give more solid evidence. Tell us more about why you think these executions are a bad thing. (specifically, why they are bad and the ones in the US are not). Also tell us more about how the miscarriage of justice you mention in the OP is a reflection on Islam specifically and not on the Saudi state dictatorship. I also want you to explain why we cannot draw similar conclusions about other states that claim to be Christian.

"colitis interuptus" or coitus interruptus? Unhappy people dislike happy people; miserable people detest them. How sad.

Yes Karma has a strange way of measuring out to people what they have measured out to others, I think Dr. King made reference to it when he stated that 'the arc of the universe tends towards justice'. Christ himself of course makes reference to it in his teachings and rather interestingly his most famous discourse, the Sermon on the mount, begins with nine or ten reasons why a Christian would be happy.

This is an interesting comment. You don't come across as as a happy person at all. Do you think that you do?

No, it only reveals your total failure to understand what I was getting at. That was perfectly excusable at first as miscommunication is to be expected with text posts on the internet. But given that I have since explained my intention, your continued insistence on misinterpreting it, is all on you. You would also do well to consider asking for clarification next time instead of jumping to the (false) conclusion that I am cold and pretentious.

Maybe. That makes you the ice cream wrapping that blows down and lands on the table. 😉
