@FMF

Why are you so vain and joyless then?

Why do you expect asking questions like this will do your argument of atheism any good?

Tell us why there is anything rather than nothing at all.... with a nice smile on your joyous face, please.

Why do you HAVE to be a self anointed "holy man"?

Where did I say I was "self anointed" ?

What is wrong with a man being holy ?

Is there nothing else in Christendom for you to do while following Jesus? Something you have better aptitude for?

You mean you're afraid that following Jesus will not be enough for your enjoyment?

You are not cut out to be a teacher.

In my estimation.

So FMF, a real joyous person would just be knocked down and stay down when you say things against his faith? Is that it?

Ie. "If you were really joyous like you should be, like my really joyous Christian acquaintances who are not here, then I could say whatever I want about Atheism being superior to the Gospel. And you would not reply."

So you make your points and a really joyous Christian would never respond ?

My atheist position doesn't need "any good" from your questions or mine. It's absolutely fine.

"Asking questions like this" might contribute to you serving "Jesus" in some other way.

You are too vain and joyless to be a self-appointed "holy man" and "preacher".

There are other ways to exercise your religious beliefs.

If you engaged in those Christian walk-the-walk activities, and then came back here and started conversations about you doing that, it might be a more effective way to serve "Jesus" than pretending you have the joie-de-vivre and personality needed to be a self-anoibted "preacher".

Why doesn't your belief in Jesus make you a joyous Christian? That's the question. Talking about "a real joyous person" is a deflection because I am talking about you and not some other person who is better at doing what you do.

You are not cut out to be a teacher.

In my estimation.

Possibly.
Then again maybe that's your handy rationale for your unbelief.

Maybe in some realms you're not teachable too.

Now, teach us all why there is something rather than nothing. Where did the universe and life come from?
Don't reach for that "humble" hat, that YOU are not here to push anything.

I'm ASKING you to push long enough to demonstrate your better teaching skills, and truth to teach.

It is just some advice. I am a grown man. Your bitter and small and self-obsessed not-cut-out-to-be-a-teacher character has little or nothing to do with my disbelief, other than you providing an example of a spiritual mindmap that surely no one wants to emulate.

I know plenty of admirable and joyful Christians. Leave me to see how my disbelief fares in the face of the example they set for me.

I make no claim to be a teacher here.

And where in this paragraph is your better teaching about why there is something rather than nothing ?

So for that reason I should not do any explaining or apologetics on this Spirituality Forum should the need arise ?

And I am still waiting to find out what you have that I lack which would enhance my joy of having God.
I have Christian brothers and sisters all over the world too.

If some of them surpass me in joyfulness, then I should not write anything here ?

It never fails to astonish me that you consider yourself a teacher here when you clearly have no pupils.

Think it over.

Think it over or be persuaded ?

Thought over. And it appears that you are attempting to lure me into bragging about my teaching ability.
You like to try to control people. Don't you?

What tricks after this will you try?

No, for the reasons [and with the suggested alternatives] that I have laid out in my posts, which you ought to read ratherthan bustle past..

Bragging about your teaching ability would be a waste of time. What other ways are there you could serve "Jesus"? What great threads could you start if that was what you had to offer? People might be drawn to you. "Jesus" flowing from you etc. etc.
