You struggle with detecting irony, it seems.
So, before it slips away, yet again, what bearing does your personal dislike for divegeester have on whether he is actually "ashamed of Jesus Christ"?

Oh I’m lying about being a Christian also now!

'Having a good conscience, so that, when you are slandered, those who revile your good behavior in Christ may be put to shame.'
1 Peter 3:16
'Behold, the Lord's hand is not shortened, that it cannot save, or his ear dull, that it cannot hear; but your iniquities have made a separation between you and your God, and your sins have hidden his face from you so that he does not hear. For your hands are defiled with blood and your fingers with iniquity; your lips have spoken lies; your tongue mutters wickedness. No one enters suit justly; no one goes to law honestly; they rely on empty pleas, they speak lies, they conceive mischief and give birth to iniquity. They hatch adders' eggs; they weave the spider's web; he who eats their eggs dies, and from one that is crushed a viper is hatched.'
Isaiah 59:1-21
Psalm 14:1-4
'The fool has said in his heart, "There is no God." They are corrupt, they have committed abominable deeds; There is no one who does good. The LORD has looked down from heaven upon the sons of men To see if there are any who understand, Who seek after God.They have all turned aside, together they have become corrupt; There is no one who does good, not even one. Do all the workers of wickedness not know, Who eat up my people as they eat bread, And do not call upon the Lord?'

Perhaps this is more my personal dislike for his posting style in this forum and his rejection of hell more than anything.
Originally posted by @dj2beckerThat’s a great Psalm. I think Psalm 25 or Psalm 27 is my favorite, though. I also like Psalms 23, 37, 91 and 103 among others.

Or do you think individual humans get to construct their own versions of God and the afterlife?
Originally posted by @ghost-of-a-dukeUnfortunately he has that backwards. God made man in His own image.
“Man Made 'God' in his own image. The eternal, the infinite, the unnameable was reduced to a mental idol that you had to believe in and worship as 'my god' or 'our god'.”

As I have said quite clearly near the start of this thread, this topic is not about doctrine or liberal Christian attitudes, it is about ONE thing only...am I ashamed of Jesus Christ.
What you have done here Jacob, is reveal your unprincipled spiteful nature.
... Or, it is just shameful.
Which do you think is worst? Which do you think is a more accurate description?

What kind of bizarre straw man is this?

I think dive is ashamed to believe Jesus was crucified for the sins of mankind.
I think dive is ashamed to believe Jesus was Resurrected.
I’m actually not convinced dive believes that, but if he does, I think he’s ashamed to. I think he feels like an uneducated, unsophisticated country bumpkin for believing that and obseqiously tries to play both sides of the fence by seeking approval from the “worldly cultured” atheists while keeping one foot in the “Jesus is God” camp just in case.
When dive tells people to have integrity and to be honest, principled posters, that’s blatant psychological projection.
