I still dont see why your life has any more meaning than squirrely the red squirrel , who gathers nuts, builds a nest, finds a mate and retires from squirreling when all his kids grow up.
Also, meaning to who?
My life means a lot more to me than the life of a red squirrels does.
The squirrel might think differently.

While i do not for a single moment intend to justify such self righteousness on the part of whoever stated that their life has more meaning than someone else because they do not profess belief in the divine its hard for me to see how life without God has any more meaning than squirrelly the red squirrel, who gathers nuts, finds a mate, builds a nest, ...[text shortened]... s children and then retires from squirreling. Perhaps someone can explain why this has meaning?

And yet you cannot demonstrate why it has more meaning. Its just interesting thats all.
(objectively speaking) than that of your red squirrel. Does that disturb you?

To my mind, my life has more meaning than a squirrels does. Because I imbue my
life with more meaning than I imbue the life of a squirrel with.
Whether the squirrel is capable of imbuing it's life with meaning, from it's perspective,
is a question I don't know the answer to. I've never experienced being a squirrel.
I'm guessing not, but I could be wrong.
But again, WHY DOES IT MATTER?
You asked the question, you must have had a reason why you asked it.
What difference does it make?
And to whom does it make a difference?
