Divegeester, after contributing heartily in good faith to this thread has suddenly had second thoughts that it is too "stupid."
He speaks of "my version" of Jesus.
Well the version of Jesus I read about said the following:
"For whoever is ashamed of Me and of My words, of this one will the Son of Man be ashamed when He comes in His glory and the glory of the Father and of the holy angels." (Luke 9:26)
Again:
"For whoever is ashamed of Me and of My words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of Man also will be ashamed of him when He comes in the glory of His Father with the holy angels." (Mark 8:38)
What WORDS of Jesus would Divegeester possibly be ashamed of as coming from the lips of Jesus ?
Let Divegeester pinpoint the shameful words from Jesus that he would conceivably feel ashamed to recognize as His words.

I think you are trying to shift the matter to avoid the burden of explaining why you should be exempt from any eternal punishment.
You seem to be arguing that the scenario is so absurd, so fable like that the very question does not have to be answered. That it is based on a fable premise is your infallibly true concept.
[quote] Suppose y ...[text shortened]... is impossible for you to undergo eternal punishment because it is impossible to experience a fable?
2) The bible makes it clear that the chances of such a place is zero.
3) No I'm happy with the question, only you have to put a case against me that would qualify me being assiagned there.
You seem to be operating on the basis that the default position is guilty.?
@medullah saidBingo.
You seem to be operating on the basis that the default position is guilty.?
1. Every human being is evil and wicked and deserves to be tortured in "Hell". [Misanthropy]
2. But I won't be tortured in "Hell" because my religious beliefs mean I won't be; I'll go to "Heaven" instead. [Narcissism]
@divegeester
I don't pretend to not understand. It is music to my ears. So I think he should tell me more about what I love to hear.
God's eternal purpose for the one called, chosen in CHrist before the foundation of the world CANNOT be fulfilled if that one is seperated from Him forever.
That is a perfectly valid reason.
"Even as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world to be holy and witjhout blemish beforfe Him in love, Predestinating us unto sonship thorugh Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will." (Eph. 1:4,5)
Those in Christ must share His glorious destiny and be with Him where He is.
They are also members of His Body. How can any part of His Body not be with HIm but be in the lake of fire forever ?
It is not because of my merit. It is because all who have Christ are in Christ - chosen unto sonship according to the good pleasure of His will.
@sonship saidYou’re weird today sonship.
