Answer it without inserting the words "makes me righteous". Inserting "makes me righteous" into your answer is a dodge.

And you have already recited the sentence "Without faith, it is impossible to please God" to me, and I have already responded to it.
So which part of "Without faith it is impossible to please God" don't you understand, because the questions you ask seem to indicate that you just don't get it.

If it helps you navigate your way through life, then good for you.
You oughta quote what you said in full. You said (paraphrased) that the Biblical verse that says “without faith it is impossible to please God” sounded man-made. For the reason I stated, it’s exactly the opposite. Just as Jesus Christ’s message was so revolutionary and how He came to earth so unexpected that the religious leaders of the day thought He was an affront to God.

Is this sarcastic comment supposed to be some kind of Zinger?

You have recited the sentence "Without faith, it is impossible to please God" to me ~ what is it, three? four? times now ~ and I get it. And I get why you are reciting it to me. And I get what you understand by it. And, bearing all those things in mind, I have already responded to it.

It isn't a sarcastic comment. It's a genuine sentiment and message

What was the question? Ask it again and I’ll answer it again.

I think it sounds man-made. But if it appeals to you, it's OK.

It's a genuine sentiment and message. You stick to your belief in supernatural causality and the specific ideology of instructions, promises, rewards, and punishments to which you subscribe, if it works for you. I mean it.

What you are putting forward is quite simply not withstanding the scrutiny, although we can agree to disagree about this assertion of mine.

How does it sound man-made when our entire frame of reference as humans is working for rewards?

If I’m not mistaken, all the other religions base salvation and righteousness (right standing with God) on human effort. Christianity is the only one that doesn’t. My opinion is God knows we’re screwups and wants to make it as easy as possible.

You don’t even remember the question. You want to argue so much that you apparently are either not reading or not comprehending the responses you’re receiving.
