I think Halladay is a bona fide ace and I'd love to have him on my team but he has a 3.99 ERA for the year and he has given up 13 home runs and batters have a .266 batting average against him.
But here are 10 guys in the AL who are cleraly having better years.
(1) Bedard (2.98 ERA. 210 BAA, 207Ks 12-4 ), (2) Haren 2.53 ERA, .222 BAA 13-4, (3) JJ Putz has a 1.46 ERA and BAA .146 (4) CC Sabathia 3.48 ERA with 14 wins, (5)Santana 3.02 ERA .220 BAA, (6)Becket 15 wins .239 BAA 3.24 ERA, (7) Escobar 2.74 ERA .237 BAA, (8)Lackey 3.07 ERA .252 BAA, (9)Carmona 3.16 ERA ,255 BAA, (10)Papelbaum 1.93 ERA .154 BAA.
Originally posted by myteamtrulystinksHalladay's stats are a bit misleading as he had three or four really bad starts in the first half that tarnished his otherwise pristeen record. But point taken nonetheless.
