I think the Rays are a team of destiny. I also think we are liable to see some excellent pitching matchups. I am looking forward to watching it. I am laughing my ass off at the networks who are undoubtedly crying because the big coast boys all got knocked out.
I think the Rays take it in 7 in a classic series. 9=1 right?
Lets see... The Phillies haven't lost at home for all three playoff series. Cole Hamels has a chance to be the most winning pitcher EVER in the playoffs. Phillies have the best bullpen in baseball. A 45 yr. old home town pitcher-Jamie Moyer, a 40 yr old pitch home run hitter/ both: first time in a world series. Most productive pitch hitter in baseball: Dobbs, which sounds like Hobbs (the Natural). Last years' MVP at shortstop. Did I forget to mention Ryan Howard? who can pick all of them up and carry them across to the football stadium. He hits more home runs than any human. We only need a 3 1/2 inning success story to fullfill our destiny. It's been one heck of a long wait, 28 yrs. so what's another 24 hrs.?

Tampa Bay Rays over the Chicago White Sox in FOUR
A hungry young Tampa team with good leadership could beat up a dismal road performing team like the aging White Sox. The Sox may have the edge in pitching but we still haven't seen the best of Kazmir and Shields.
LA Angels over the Boston Red Sox in FIVE
Best series of the first round ...[text shortened]... the odds and send the well-rounded Phillies packing. Ryan Braun will be the MVP of the series.

How many cases of those Colt Brennen for the Heisman buttons do you still have?
Have you received your shipment of Colt Brennen - Pro football HOF buttons yet?

B) I never predicted Colt would win the Heisman;
C) We'll eventually see.
But boy that World Series was some CLASSIC, wasn't it? Looks like I won this round; 5-2 in predictions here v. your 4-3. You'd be getting your head handed to you in the Fox College Football Pick Em too, but luckily for you, you're too chickens**t to play that.
